That happened to me. I'm probably not going to play a shooter but this is the best game ad I've seen in years.
Whoever was responsible for the direction of this trailer, including the choice of song, editing, and sound design needs a raise ASAP. This was put together so beautifully, that my mouth was left open.

This song just added so much emotion and is literally one of the reasons I’m playing this game, I hope this game blows up, m83 is my fav band and this takes the cake as one of the best game trailers I have ever seen

@@SweetCattyKing anything can be in rhythm so long as you edit it right. Just find out what the song’s BPM is and edit the clips to the beat. It’s pretty easy but it’s indeed very satisfying to watch

For the real ones.. one of the dev's live streamed this from the crowd at summer games fest on there official channel shaking in the crowd when it came up on the screen live. You could see the passion in the guy. Hats off. There are dev's with big dreams not just corporations waiting for the come up. Remember that.

As someone who actually worked for Nexon (and is liking the game so far), I can assure you they pretty much are a corporation waiting for the come up. More than you could ever imagine from outside the industry.

I've watched this legit 100 times and still get goosebumps! Regardless of the outcome of the game's launch, this is an all-time great Game-trailer! 10/10! NEXON: Please find ways to create more trailers for this game to introduce major expansions or upcoming major/key story points. This is epic, and it would be great to watch them all in succession 10 years from now when the Story is at its Climax! The community would rally behind these so much!

TFD actually has quite an interesting lore. Ingris, the planet of which the action takes place, was very primitive when the Vulgus and the Colossi appeared, it's was literally medieval times for humans, that's why they almost went extinct, they just couldn't fight against such overwhelming power, since they were still using steel armor, spears and swords. The first colossus humanity witnessed was the Executioner I am pretty sure, they describe how it was killing everything with lightning, and they called him "The Reaper", as if the death itself descended upon their lands, and they called Vulgus "demons" armed with "spears that spit fire". Magisters were slaves to the vulgus, and it's actually Anais (or someone else under the same name) who came up with the idea that they should help humanity, and it came down to two reasons: first some ancient notes that were never confirmed, and there is no explanation what was written on them, but I'd wager it's about the Ancestors and the Descendants, and second: Anais has some sort of dream, there's a goal she wants to achieve, but it's also not explained. So all what you see in the game? Humanity got basically kickstarted into it with Magister's sharing their knowledge and technology.

I have long since grown weary of these team based shooters with quirky characters and certainly didn't think that a CG trailer would ever sway me. But genuine kudos to the team who made this, because it actually reached my jaded heart. And the use of M83 doesn't hurt either.
Yep, it convinced me to download the game. Have it pre-loaded. Might end up being a quick uninstall if it turns out to be similar to any of the current hero shooters, though.
I wouldn’t really call this a “team based shooter with quirky characters.” That’s more like Overwatch, or Concord. You can play this co op but it’s not team based in the way I think you’re referring to.
We've already had a bunch of live playtests and the game looks really close to this. But it has HORRIBLE microtransactions. Every item requires farming for parts and catalysts and whatever else mumbo jumbo words, then require an endgame raid and then take 12-24 hours to craft (which you can speed up with money), etc etc. Even colors require multiple parts to be bought. It's like Warframe crafting but way worse.
We don't know the real life monetary costs yet though since all materials were given to us for free during playtests.
@@Ceelker I think we do know the costs. It’s like around 20 US dollars for 1000ish. 5750 is like 100 dollars. There’s a 5 dollar option for ~200 currency. also a 10 and 50 dollar option as well

You know what I love about the advertising for this game? It's always done with hopeful music and framing. They easily could have done high energy, aggressive music behind massive explosions and fighting, but almost every ad they've made was framed as a hopeful future kind of thing.
The advertising is fucking insane, only for the game to be some shitty 5v5 hero shooter

What a clean trailer, instills a sense of wonder and epic for a universe without you even knowing what it's about yet! Really gives you the drive to dive in and get the game and find out more, serious props to the creative teams here

Wow, I watched the ad entirely. This game gave me a magical feeling and a thrill of excitement, it was a wonderful experience seeing the advertisement for the first time. The graphics are so realistic and yet so unique, the character designs are impeccable, and the animation is so smooth! Y'all did a beautiful job on this game. Bravo, brava! 👏👏👏

I've kept hearing about this game around the gaming community, but I never bother to look into it. I still have no idea what the actual gameplay looks like. It was just yesterday I got this trailer in an ad and decided to sit through the whole thing, and I just had to go look up the original and watch it again. So good dude.
