Takes me back to the 70's when I worked in the R'nD dept at HH in Cambridge... need to dig out an old picture of us testing speakers on the roof of the building - see if you have a clue as to what the gear was... love your 'stuff'.....
@HarderThanConcrete Just realised that the cabs and I were on the factory roof - But 99% of the test equipment was actually back inside the building - and we'd cabled over to the roof... Have an image o cab on roff with 'unidentified gizmo' sitting on top... But cannot see how to attach here - Hey ho.... looks like you're 'outHainbaching' Hainback with all your amazing gear!
Sometimes I just jam out a random track with no prep, but if I'm doing a graphic score I stick a column of the available sound sources to the left, and a time axis in seconds along the bottom, and just draw something I imagine might sound interesting. I'm not doing anything particularly mathematical at the moment but plan to do something a bit more like that once I've got my head round it.
@@David13Rome Yeah annoyingly it's a separate mic which I got for the purpose, but it's not a very good one! That's another thing to tweak for next time 😁

I absolutely love the phasing explanation/demonstration.
Amazing DIY modular synth , which includes great fundamental explanation
This is so satisfying to listen to!
@@saltynotbitter4557 Some form of weird ASMR perhaps
Excellent!

"A retirement home for oscillators " what a beautiful sentence.
No pension for an old age oscillator 😞
Love to have you feature on a track Ben with these belters x
Love to!
They are a good thing indeed
Nice demonstration. Interesting how the sound went from smooth to nauseating and back again (at louder volume) when the frequencies con- and diverged
It's an interesting phenomenon isn't it!
Mint video! one day I'll figure out editing 😂
It's only taken my entire life to actually have a go.

@2009Tosh I'm on Instagram as Harder than Concrete - might be able to send it there?
@HarderThanConcrete Just sent them via messages - fB Old School Electronic etc etc etc) where I watch your posts!
Great video , and really well explained , thank you :)
Thanks Lee!
How do you compose/decide your graphic scores?

British heinbach 😂
I suppose the British spelling would be Hineback. That sounds about right 😁☕
Love his work though!
You could use a separate mic. It's hard to understand what you are saying. The built in mic sounds very garbled.
