@sumdyude ...agreed....the dude is a guitar player but on THIS particular video the background music drowns out HIS playing.....I'm sure it's pretty damn good BUT I SURE can't tell....I'm NOT a hater or jealous....let's hear it by itself and then we can ALL kiss up to him.....

For those of you having trouble hearing him play over the background try to readjust your sound or download a free sound software to be able to turn down certain instruments in the song. John Sykes is AMAZING!!! And his playing got better and better over the years. Equally amazing is the interplay between Sykes and Aynsley Dunbar. I never cared much for the song, but the solo is brilliant!
That solo is so nasty yet soothing ASF. If I didn't know any better I'd swear this is actually John Sykes posing as some average dude that's really good at covering John Sykes work.

Wow, great job!! As far the naysayers go, maybe they need to upgrade their headphones, I could hear Satsuma3042's playing fairly well, his tone is not as bright as the recording. Not to mention the fact that you can also SEE what he's playing. Not much to complain about here, I'll be waiting to see videos from the critics below doing better, I sure the hell couldn't.
