Opinions are like assholes. What matters is if you are good enough to get paid and that people would actually pay for your music. What doesn't matter is someone that never accomplished anything that has an opinion with nothing to back it up.
I really appreciate the way it's filmed too, because I can clearly see both hands and there are so many guitar videos out there where you can't figure anything out because you can't see anything.
Outstanding! I saw Metallica (with Cliff!) open for Ozzy on the Ultimate Sin Tour. Fifth row! Jake E. Lee is one of my favorite 80s shredders, because he's so melodic and creative. "Shot In The Dark" is one of the best tracks on that record and you really nailed it. Nailed the tone, too!
jake E LEee was a BEAST...and so underated! He had the ability to write music which is rare, but also the skills too and great TONE! He is THE BEAST FROM THE EAST and a guitar legend far as I'm concerned!
I clicked on this to comment on your beautiful guitar until I saw your playing this song and said, " Hell yes dude" Mind boggling how this riff and chords came from someones mind. Jake's one of the best!!
GOOD JOB! Brings me back to the early 80's when every kid in my area would say to me "play bark at the moon or shot in the dark" Ozzy, led zeppelin, RUSH was so big in Massachusetts back in them days
It's just me but in my honest opinion, I always thought Jake E Lee was the best guitarist that Ozzy ever had, Jake really knew how to put a song on guitar, the guitar work by Jake is very good he's not just using simple power chords, 80s Metal used a lot of melodies, it wasn't just noise. Or strumming the same two or three power chords, great work by Jake E Lee. Good Job sir!
That's why Ultimate Sin is my all time favorite Ozzy record. As I grew as a guitarist I really began appreciating all the guitar work Jake put into that album. If you listen to it, and REALLY listen to it, there's so many little fills, micro riffs, just so much going on it truly is incredible.
Wow dude. Nailed it. I think this is one of Ozzy's best songs prior to Wylde-era - and Jake E. Lee's masterful playing on this song with all the tasty fills and rhythms make it just incredible. The song has an urgency and cryptic feel that is indescribable.
WOW - simply incredible - and so ...seemingly effortless played by you!! Hat's off❗ Just brought back a whole bunch of great memories of those golden times...

hey tapgym... I love the fact that Jake E lee, was innovative, and used very little "pinch harmonics" to get his sound to be the notes to catch your ear... I do a few things different, but overall, great cover of the great JEL... peace.. JLG....
@@Zaxh01 Ozzy has been high & drunk for 5p years. He has no idea what he was saying. Probably doesn't even remember Randy. Just says his name cause Sharon keeps telling him to. 😎🤘😎🤘😎
Anthony DeFabees even if he was to high to hear at the time he can listen to the album. Although randy is gone that album isn’t going anywhere wether it be blizzard of ozz or diary of a madman. Randy laid more of a mark than jake e lee and you can’t deny it. I like jake e lee and think he’s a phenomenal player. However you can’t deny Randy has influenced more.
Good job, you cover this well! I can remember trying to play this back in the day and having my mind blown. Always loved the guitar in this song but it was always hard to hear. It was the guitar more than Ozzy that I always wanted to hear with this song. And to be honest even if I was sitting in Ozzy's garage, I'd be parked over by the guitar amplifier hoping it was loud. Whenever I want to hear this song now I'm going to come to your site and hear it here, where the guitar is LOUD, Cheers!
YES!!! Awesome! you nailed it and the tone as well, great job! You made my day with this one, an old favorite tune of mine. Beautiful Bengal Burst by the way! Just subbed...

Best I have heard in years; I saw him play with Ozzy back in 1986. I saw tons of concerts and Jake was magical.

Jake got such a raw deal. Incredibly talented guy and a great heir to Randy's throne.
Virtually writing all those hits, but for no reward. That is why I dislike Ozzy and Sharon. Jake made those tunes.
Great job man. Just showcases the Brilliance of Jake E Lee guitar riffs,And this dudes Talent

my fav. of all the osbourne guitarists.
Karen’s biggest mistake was firing this guy
@@droneNheavy why did she fire him?

Saw it at Hampton, VA. Most of the crowd didn't know who Metallica was because although they had three albums out they had zero airplay in the area.

@Jurgen Cuypers People seem to have Pentatonic boner for perpetual harmonic squeal of Zakk Wild, writing off Jake's work, which I personally prefer.
