omg so true about synopses giving away too much nowadays... i just go by vibes now rather than reading what the book is about lol. also this is such a great list! I'm been getting back into fantasy these last few months and have been really excited to read more next year~
I am not the most up-to-date on when books come out. I will offer ONE addition. I got an eArc for it...and it has become my favourite book that I read in 2023. It comes out on February 13th, and it is called Undead Samurai. It also has a great cover...the author's name is Baptiste Pinson Wu and I cannot recommend this book more. It is a historical fiction story with horror elements in it...set in Japan in the 17th century. Multiple POVs and have I said that I loved it? Okay...enough about that. There were a few of those books that look interesting. Might have to wait till after they arrive...and listen to what others are saying. I finished Emily Wilde's EoF, I gave it 4.25 and am looking forward to the sequel! Heavenly Tyrant by Xiran Jay Zhao is my most anticipated release. Also looking forward to The Ashfire King by Chelsea Abdulah Ghost Station by SA Barnes

I read arcs of “To gaze upon wicked gods” and it was pretty good but forgettable …but “Fathomfolk” was AMAZING! Such a creative world

If you love epic high fantasies, I would highly recommend The Five Warrior Angels trilogy by Brian Lee Durfee. Please give it a go.
