    Great video! I subscribed your channel. I own the Reaper 3.0 and used the Shockwave only once and then sold it because I didn’t like the small buttons. I am using my packtalk bold. Now with the new 4.0 out I am going the buy the 4.0 liquid carbon and reconsider the buy the shockwave again because the Chain app is also available so I can connect with my buddies that all use the Packtalk Bold. But I am afraid I still wont like the little buttons for louder and softer. You are using it for a longer time now, whats your experience with it? Again great channel!

      Been using it now for a few months and though it's not as easy to use because of the button size, I do most of my volume and call functions on my phone that I mount on my handlebars, and think the trade-off for not having a big extra unit on the side of my helmet. Appreciate the support and enjoy that 4.0. I'm jealous. 😉

    This is a big selling point for me. On my current helmet it have a sena style headset and it looks stupid stuck to the side of my helmet. This just seems to fit way better

      I've never been a fan of the big bulky Bluetooths. They have more functionality, for sure, but for what I use mine for, the Shockwave works just fine. ✌🏽

    How do you like your atlas 3.0? I have read some mixed reviews and with the announcement of the 4.0 coming out, I think I am gonna wait and get a 4.0! Nice video man!

      I'm really enjoying my Ruroc! 4.0 sounds like it's made some more progress, but I'm totally happy with the 3.0, thus far. I'll have a full early review, once it gets warmer and I can get out more. Appreciate you watching! ✌🏽

    Being the miserly old cheapskate that I am, have never been impressed with the fancy pants boxing and packaging things come in. I would rather spend 50 bucks less because the box is just going to wind up in the barn anyway, making a nice new home for the mice. With all that said, I am very impressed with the little helmet donut they designed into the packaging. Good job, Ruroc. Interesting that they are already introducing a 4.0 so soon after the 3.0. Starting to feel a little like the iPhone. As I stated on an earlier video, I think the big game changer will be when the Shockwave becomes competitive with Sena and the others.

      I would say Ruroc is definitely banking on their popularity and probably could have skipped 2.0, and maybe even 3.0 and brought 4.0, which looks to be the most complete version of the Atlas. The closeable top vent was really the last piece to it feeling like a finished product, and with that being done, I wonder if it'll be longer before we see any big changes other than introductions of new graphics. Shockwave was a big selling point for me. I heard enough positive feedback about the sound quality that I decided 3.0 was good enough for me, and I haven't regretted my decision yet. :)

    how long does the battery last for the intercom how to know when charging is needed

    • @thatoneguymoto
      @thatoneguymoto  ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't use the intercom function much, mostly for music and making calls occasionally. In my experience you get a solid 8+ hours of life from it. And, every time you turn it on it gives you a battery status (high, med, low).

    When I don't like is the controls are on the back of the helmet change the next song easily

      Absolutely. It's my biggest gripe with the Shockwave. Good to see they've moved to the side for the EOX.

    how can i reset the headset? What happens is that I linked it months ago and I didn't use it, now I want to do it but Bluetooth doesn't detect me with any name, I already deleted data, cache, and restarted

    Hey hoping you can help. I cannot seem to get my mic to work.. I can hear music but when I try to take a call the other person cannot hear me replying. Not sure how to fix this?

    • @thatoneguymoto
      @thatoneguymoto  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hmmm, sounds like it may be a hardware issue with the mic/headphone (hopefully not with the internal helmet wiring). I'd double check the connection and make sure the wire's all the way in, and go from there.

    My battery was dead when I got it and it didn’t come in proper packaging it was just in a little rectangle box

    • @thatoneguymoto
      @thatoneguymoto  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't think the battery being dead (or low) is an anomaly, but interesting it didn't come in the same packaging. 🤷🏽‍♂️

    How’s the sound quality, i was looking at some other videos and i’ve seen people say you aren’t able to hear anything at highway speeds. was this only the 2.0 shockwave?

    • @thatoneguymoto
      @thatoneguymoto  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sound quality is excellent. I have a Sent 10R which has the same speakers as the 30K (I think it is) and the sound in the Shockwave 3.0 is just as good/loud as that. Even call quality is excellent, and I've tested this at highway speeds.

    When I connect them, you only hear one side, is that normal?

    • @thatoneguymoto
      @thatoneguymoto  ปีที่แล้ว

      You probably figured it out, but you need to check the connection from the wire to the helmet. It can be difficult to make sure it's pushed all the way in, but I bet that's what it is.

    How do you switch the music etc??

    • @thatoneguymoto
      @thatoneguymoto  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Someone was kind enough to put the manual online. usermanual.wiki/Ruroc/SHOCKWAVE
      I mostly use the controls on my phone that I have mounted on my handlebars, just because it's easier to access than the back of my helmet. Plus the buttons are small on the Shockwave, which make it challenging to manipulate with a gloved hand.

    • @fitmastervic4802

      @@thatoneguymoto do you think it be better just to mount my sena then? Gloves sometimes don’t let you use your phone lol

    • @thatoneguymoto
      @thatoneguymoto  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@fitmastervic4802 I'd say go with what you feel is the best for you. If gloves don't permit you to use your phone controls, your Sena might be the way to go. 👍🏽
