Having completed the wonderful 'Mastering DAX' course last year, I'm still amazed at how much extra I am learning with these high quality learning tutorials. Thank you Alberto for such a clear explanation of a tricky topic in DAX.

Great way to respect filters coming from outside the visual while still using ALL....

can someone explain why he multiplied Step with 1 and 2 for low and medium class? And what ALLSELECTED did in last example?

1:02 "the risk of doing that is that the numbers will be inaccurate, wrong, crazy, stupidly crazy, nearly impossible to understand" got that loud and clear Alberto 😆

Thanks for the video. Can you please tell how do you select the whole word (like on 9:36). Is is some hotkeys combinations?

It is just shift-ctrl and the arrows, nothing fancy!

I love your course. On my way to be a power bi consultant. 🙏🏾

I will steal your way of explaining when something is just not worthy to understand!
Could the risks of ALLSELECTED be avoided using VALUES instead?

Allselected in that table is brilliant!

Great powerful tip! Is it wrong to call the examples dynamic visualised calculations? In that they respond/change with slicers/selections? Thanks again for accessible tips

Mr. Ferrari, I read if the explanation is very tricky, in your SQLBI article, it gives the impression that he does not know exactly what the function does and he only dedicated himself to filling pages that all they do is generate more confusion on the subject.
I'm sorry but you don't understand it, read it yourself and you'll agree with me, hopefully you'll reconsider and write again in more detail.

Can I learn better these contexts and other concepts If get access to MASTERING DAX?

Mastering DAX covers all the aspects of the language, including more advanced insights about ALLSELECTED.
However, for a good DAX learning path, follow directions described here: www.sqlbi.com/guides/dax/

Random question - what make/model keyboard are you using?
