I still believe they were meant to be together...and l'm sure Bjorn regrets letting her go. Agnetha loved him so much you can see it in her eyes whenever she looked at him. He wrote The Winner Takes It All for Agnetha to sing, he wrote it for her because he knew how hurt she was, but still, he couldn't swallow his pride, hence the lyrics of that song, lyrics where she could tell him a thing or two.
Bjorn and Agnetha never stopped loving each other, and we kinda know that today, Bjorn has recently divorced his wife, and ABBA has recently released their newest album, Voyage, the first song being I Still Have Faith In You, Agnetha sounding, as always, beautifully honest and sincere. No doubt, Bjorn and Agnetha never stopped loving each other.
Agnetha left Bjorn because she was fell in love with another man. Bjorn wrote "The Winner Takes It All" for himself and how did he feel when his wife cheated on him (the loser's standing small).Agnetha sang it because she was the singer. She fell into depression because she didn't expect Bjorn to get over it so quickly and falls in love with another woman within a week. Agnetha regretted her choice and isolated herself for rest of her life in Ekerö in Sweden. She made a big mistake. I love Agnetha but this is the real truth.

According to the song, "One Of Us", there would be nothing you could do to stay married to her. The "fairy tale" "ABBA the untold story" implies Agnetha was the one who wanted out of the marriage. It would seem, perhaps they both regretted the divorce because they still love each other. In short, the whole story seems to illustrate the classic human dilemma of "the road not taken" and the regrets either way one played it.

If Bjorn would have treated Agnetha the way he treated his second wife Lena, their marriage would have been successful. Agnetha wanted Bjorn to be more involved with his family than being in the studio all the time. By the time he married Lena, ABBA disbanded which allowed him invest more time with his new family. That's why his second marriage was successful. I just feel terrible for Agnetha.
Doesn't Agnetha also was in the studio with Bjorn? They've worked together after all. His decision to concentrate on work was right and has driven ABBA to what it is now - one of the greatest bands of XX-th century. Women should understand that men defined by what they do instead of women who are more prone to families. If he'd gave up on ABBA then he would have regret this whole his live and would have (rightfully) blame his wife for this. So there wouldn't be happy ending either. Giving that his second wife looks like Agnetha's clone I'd say he loved Agnetha and this was her decision to split with Bjorn.
You’re right. Agnetha struggle from two postpartum emptiness and her mother died and following year her father. She needs someone to understand and support her in the stage of grieving. Agnetha deserves to be treated with emotional support and understanding. I always understands agnetha and she deserves more than bjorn.

Dare I put in my two pence? ABBA taught me to love music, so the band's contribution to my life is as large as my life itself. Why? Because I am non existent without music. So, each and every member of the band mean a lot to me. My opinion on the matter is that our initial serious relationships are always volatile since they start when we are young. Getting married, having and raising kids take heavy tolls on our relationships. By the time a 2nd relationship happens, people mellow down a lot, mature a lot due to past experiences. So, consequent relationship/s have better chances of survival. No point in blaming anyone. I, as a fan, am just glad that they've enriched our lives so much. Thank you for the Music, ABBA. Agnetha did an album with them both, both being in Swedish but (l am crying) they released after abba. The one with the daughter who is Linda was a Christmas song and the one with the son who is called Peter Christian was a child's album, I know this because I translated the entire song list into English.
Peter was born on 4th December 1977
Linda was born on 23 or 24th February 1973

Bjorn was single for about a week before meeting his new wife. Agnetha had issues that he could move on so fast after they separated, but she never spoke ill of Bjorn publicly. They are on friendly terms because of their granddaughters.

Just because AGNETHA was always glancing His way, while Performing looking for Mild Guidance & His Approval of Her. Thier Connection was So Electrifying that it was as if they had an Aura around Them. Now in the Past apparently Bjorn was the creator of the Split, Break up, or Undoing of Thier Relationship. Well I for sure Can't See what Any other Woman could of Gave Him? That He hadn't most likely already gotten from AGNETHA in Thier Relationship already. As I already mentioned above, Human Vanity can be a Bitch especially in High Profile Scenarios. Such as Celebrity Marriages, Dating, or the Speculation that People, are Seeing One another. My Point being what else Could another person expect from Someone else? When they were already receiving it from the Other person, in Thier life. OH well it's a Damn Shame it Didn't Work Out. I find it bewildering that someone divorces his first wife, then marries his second wife so soon after a divorce. Was he having an affair. How does someone get involved with another woman so quickly, enough to marry her, unless something was going on before . Even having children doesnt motivate some people to be faithful and set a good example to their children. We all have some tough times in married life, some dont walk away because it is tough.

Это ещё больше их отдалило. И потом Бьёрн просто нашел замену своей жене с другой женщиной. Это все вынудило Агнетта уйти. Бьёрн повез на гастроли в Японию свою любовницу. Это при всех. На концертах АББА вместе, по ночам в разных номерах с любовницей. Какая любовь. Это похоть. И непорядочно поведение с его стороны. И сейчас Лена заболела, Бьёрн находит замену. Музыкант он гений,ма как человек- не совсем порядочный.
После распада аббы, мужчины не создали такого творения как АББА. Все их знают как АББА и мьщикл мама Мия - тоже песни АББА. То вдохновение и такая команда как во времена аббы не смог никто из них повторить. Много сделал для аббы и Стиг, и Третов и многие многие люди. Амфрида и Агнетта давали вдохновение Бенни и Бьернк, которое потом уже не повторилось.

I put off listening to this for ages because of the comments I read hear and it literally made me cry. As I have read hear, she truly just wanted to be with her children but Björn wanted music, the reason they divorced.
After hearing this come up in the album I was listening to I made a new one missing this song out. And then it came up randomly whilst I listened to music whilst gaming and I almost turned it off. I only listened to it because I was so sad. Now I listen to it daily and after remembering what led me away from the song, which is these comments, I spent two hours hunting the video down just to read the comments that led me away from the song. There's still part of me that wants to cry so hard. Just listening to this song makes me want cry quietly. Especially this video.
