Hello, could you please explain how u got the rear spring started onto top isolator, I'm literally in middle of lift install and having a heck of time getting rear spring seated on top isolator. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Great video! Did you hook up the sway bar again? I just bought some TJ springs for the rear of my KJ, did you have to trim the springs to make them work?
@@MacsSpecialitiesProperties no and no. We primarily drive it up north on back roads and some highways. It's a little loose in tight corners but you get used to it.
Those are not rear TJ springs. The sticker number he put on the video cross references to JK. I used JKU rear springs in my rear to get my 3” plus the rear. 68004459aa. Are better than the 68004458aa.
Do you have any more info on doing the rear lift? Like does it matter what year TJ or Durango for those parts? I need to do that to mine and I'm looking for ideas. I like what you did there, might do that on mine.
The rear spring part # cross references to a 2007-2012 wrangler jk. Also, the emu shocks are black/yellow... so are those bilstein shocks? And what year Durango are those shocks from in the rear?
@@kennethatteberry6757 the guy I bought the stuff from said they were jk rear springs. I'm only going with what he told me. The front strut spring combo came ome . I believe I showed the part number of that. The Durango shocks they fit all year Durango. I bought the cheapest ones to try now I wish I bought the best ones. The cheap ones work great the best would just be better.
@@sammyspence6413 sorry I'm not sure on the springs. The shock I ordered where for a Dodge Durango. They only made them a few years and the part number is the same on all of the years
Great info. Can I ask, with the liberty not being a body on chassis design like a pickup does the spacer lift actually lift the whole jeep giving added ground clearance? If it was a body on chassis design spacers only lift the body not the chassis so the ground clearance stays the same with spacers on, is this correct? All the best from Scotland 👍🏴
Best part of the video is watching the kid working in the shop with his dad , nice truck though, I will never lift another vehicle I have death wobble fobia.
Dont forget to add a bumpstop to your rear suspension, to prevent those bigger tires from rubbing the wheel well during full flex! I used two hocky pucks, bolted to the bottom soring seat in my 2002 KJ, but i feel like i actually need to add another ine to the stack!
Stereo flatens the battery I find especially if your optima battery is on its way out usually lasts 3 days then totally flat.just swapped to a new optima battery seems okay again over a week still good
Sweet Jeep Todd! Nice to see your occupied with a different project seeing how shitty this winter was (at least here in Canada anyways). I think it’s probably the same for you guys too based on a lot of your videos this winter. Keep that shirt inside out! 😂 cheers 🍻

the lift kit , and addons cost more than the actual vehicle :( brand new ......im seeig arond 24k minimum spent on just the suspension , the jeep is worth around 4 k , i always had dreams for mine , but i just use it as a daily now , sadly
Still cheaper than the newer stuff mopar sells and more heavy duty. It's not what's it's worth....but how durable it is with your use. Thats where it's value is..... if u are a car flipper find muscle cars from late 60s not jeeps.
Looks good. You could get sway bar quick disconnects and put on there. That way you can hook them up and disconnect the sway bar in minutes.
Definitely an option if I think I need it.

Are those Crown Victoria steel wheels? If not, what are they?
Anyone have issues reconnecting the sway links with that2.5 in lift? Mine sit at a weird angle and pinch the bushings after torquing down.
