I love how Starset's original versions are a lot more badass while the acoustics are more of a soothing sounding song and yet both are graceful
That's exactly how I feel about Ricochet. It's my all-time favorite song, and I honestly can't place one version over the other. I feel like the original is about the anger and frustration in realizing you have only yourself to blame in pushing someone away. In comparison the acoustic is almost the acceptance that you're to blame; there's no real anger, only solemn acknowledgement.

Dude I saw them live with Shinedown as the headliner and they are by far the most badass band ever. They had the coolest set and light show. I had never heard of them before and they killed it.

After Transmissions was released, this band became an instant favourite. I didn't think that they could top it with Vessels, but they did. And now this... Every track so far has blown me away. It could easily top the previous two. This band is truly one of a kind. Astronomy and music, my two favorite things in life blended into one.

I’ve never put to much thought into it, but starset really is unique. Not a single song, nor artist is similar, there’s just something different about starset, but I don’t know what it is. It’s a little unnerving.
Starlight has always been my favorite song and I just about lost it when I saw the acoustic version was in 2.0. This was so worth the wait and absolutely beautiful.

They can take any of their song's styles and spin it into something much more beautiful. That's what I love about Starset. I wouldn't be surprised if they could turn the guitar-heavy Bringing it Down into an acoustic version (which, I don't think anyone would mind)
I saw it live acoustic and words cannot describe how well this was done and the acoustic album doesn't do that experience justice. It was breathtakingly beautiful.

My best friend committed suicide yesterday. Or I guess Saturday night. I loved him. I think I was in love with him. Had been for awhile. It was a quiet and warm love. All he had to do was say he wanted me and I wouldve been anything for him. (He was gay, though, so I loved him fully from the sidelines. But he probably knew. I probably knew. I just didn't think about it until today.) I miss him so much. I had to write this out, had to shout it out into the void. I'm listening to this song and losing it, because I lost him. We all did. We all loved him so much, and he loved us. He knew. He sent out a mass-sent selfie saying P.S. I Love You and I keep looking at it. It's so hard to believe he's gone. This hurts more than anything ever.

I used to make fun of my friend for liking this band because the name itself sounded "corny". One day, a TH-cam ad played even tho I had ad block. As I was about to skip the ad, starlight acoustic version played. Here I am now, constantly listening to them and even going to their concerts.
This is possibly my favourite song in existence right now. It is so raw with longing, and so beautiful it leaves my heart aching and singing every time I listen to it. I didn't know it was possible to be so full with emotion (that's the best way I can think of to describe it) that it's like they could spill over and out of your body at any moment. Starset is like an out-of-body experience.

I love Starlight because of how "soft" it is in comparison to the other sings, with the lack of heavy guitars or screaming, but the acoustic is just something else. It's the same feeling was the original, just two differnt sounds. The original is more melancholy, as if a farewell, but this version sounds as if someone is looking forward to meeting them again. It's a quite wonderful thing.
