@@person1-_229 actually kirito is stronger he just either a was going easy b he was worried about hurting Eugeo and was focused on snapping him out of it or c he didn’t know he could dual wield and plus he still had one sword or it could be a mixture of all three either way kirito is still stronger

Yh kirito is stronger and has better sword skills but eugeo is way to smart for kirito especially since he beat burcoli in a 1v1 and burcoli couldnt use his strongest attack in the 1v1 cause it would of destroyed everything above them and the rubble wouldve crushed them both

Eugeo technically used the ground as a way for the ice to travel. He stabs it into the ground because his enemies are on the ground and can be grounded by Ice. He first Crouches down to connect his Blade with the Ground. It's shown that the Release Recollection doesn't really need that, due to Kirito using it and showing that Vines come out of the Blue Rose Sword and he uses it to restrain the enemy.

Pontifex Administrator was the highest level being in the underworld, so when Kirito was the sole survivor of that fight, he leveled up to an insane degree. However his brain got fried with the power outage, so it looked like he didn’t gain his god powers until the end of the war arc.
