Beautifully song and loved every word. I worked thirty years in the mines of the silver valley in northern Idaho. Many times i didn't think i would make through the shift because rock bursts. God was my 9 only hope to make home to my family every night. With the chaos of being in many rock bursts and seeing things i didn't think possible God saw me through. I shed a tear while listening to your song because I've lost so many friends underground. Thank you for this song it meant millions to me, God bless.
My great grandfather died in a mine explosion in Colorado. They just sealed it up and placed a memorial atop it. It takes a real man to go down in those mines every day. Respect!
Coal miner from Australia here, your dead right about that! Sorry to hear about your grandfather I’ve lost 3 mates down there it’s hard to keep your nerve after..,
I love when artist are able to create such a masterpiece that it makes you long for something that you can’t name - nevertheless you keep listening to the melody, words and voice mesmerised ❤ I’m glad I randomly came across this song on someone’s instagram video 😍
Found you by on Instagram making a recurve bow. Saw the comment on the music and went hunting. Dang glad I did, you got a fan and appreciator of your talents in this fella. Keep it going, much love and respect.
Дякую Вам за чарівну музику, люблю та насолоджуюся кантрі. Бажаю чаоівного нового року, мирного неба над головою!!! Слава Україні і смерть нашим ворогам!
My grandfather was a coal miner in a mountain region in Moldova,Romania, died 84.This is for him and ease to my Heart.God bless you,I can hear this song all day
I know this song is about those lost in the mines.. but dealing with depression, anxiety and dark thougts. Way down in the mine sounds to me like "way down in the mind" as in the lowest point. A mile deep into depression. This is constantly playing either out loud or in my mind. Even now, smoking with tears in my eyes. The song speaks to me.
Heard this on tiktok.. just have to say thanks. My husband is a coal miner and I’m always afraid for him. I can’t imagine how women felt back in the 1900’s sending their men off everyday for what could be the last time.
I worked in mining, now I detail cars, I have my own business,,,, my son now does underground mining (operates drilling rigs). When I found you on tik tok, and heard this song, it brought back the memory of the 33 miners who were trapped underground for a long time, in the San José mine in Chile. Much respect for what you do and the music you create and perform. Greetings from Chile..
I'm not a miner nor have any miners on the family. But this song made me appreciate the dozens or maybe hundreds of millions of miners throughout history who made modern society possible.
Found this in reel youtube. I found it and listened to it. It made my eyes water. The feelings are strong. The lyrics is clear and direct touching. Never ever been touched that deep by a song before. I am a lover of your art now and then. Thank you for this beautiful art
My late wife was originally from rural VA and this reminds of where she grew up. Bluefield Virginia and we toured an abandoned coal mine and this reminds me of that slice of heaven in the Blue Ridge mountains
Came from a family of steel and coal workers, hearing this reminds me of the papers they wrote about the working conditions and the lives they had to live to keep the ones they loved above water. It truly hits home to know how difficult life was not all that long ago
The first verse just amaze me . Its like he is painting a picture in my head .. Animating it and bring it to life with his voice and music like a movie but in my mind. Beautiful piece my friend Greeting from Iraq 🖤
I'm crying and crazy apparently I'm worthy but still worthless. Don't know what to do except listen to this on repeat 😊😢😢 missing you son... I know you're never comin back... But I guess I'll wait on you til your ready even if it takes forever. God bless you forever for making this song

I discovered how spears were made, and I also discovered this song. Dude, I wish I knew how to make stuff like this, being survival skills or musical skills
I am from India . last year i suddenly thought of how I played bow in my childhood. then I began searching for bow shooting and building and I went too deep in bow build than i found your short videos where your background music was one mile deep first time that was the time of first time hearing this song and I love this song.- Harshit
Sad but a true story. So many lives lost mining coal, Especially when you think you've braced the walls and sealing. You can't always defeat the might of a mountain. It's sad and my heart goes out to all those who have lost a loved one in a coal mine. Top respect for the real men(women as well) in those mines. There's very rarely anyone like them. Rest in peace, And my condolences to the family.
I used too had a band when I was young, I'm from latam but I always wanted to sing country songs, maybe one day I'll cover up this song, have a strong message and a cool sound, it makes me feel like I'm a country man 🔥
You good sir just made a master piece. I just can't seem to stop listening to it. The way you deliver this story of Doom is either beyond perfection or the literal meaning of perfect itself. It stirs so many emotions within me and I believe a lot of people would agree about it themselves. Thank you for sharing your voice and great talents man. What a wonderful piece of art. Bravo...
Man, I can't stop listening to this song !!! Why it doesn't go viral ?? Videos of dumass idiots dancing gets millions of views, but this peace of art, this voice from heaven doesn't!!! The internet is broken man!
Thank God there's still real country music like this instead of all the new pop country I keep hearing
Real music with heart and sole. Not made for views and money.
