I have split choice between CB 350 and Yezdi Roadster. My priority is as below 1). Comfort better suspension in semi off-road condition (due to many metro construction in Chennai OMR) 2). Daily commute of 70 km(including up and down) and weekly 180 km including up and down 3). genuine and cost effective after sale support 4). I usually ride at 60-75 km even in empty highways to enjoy the ride. I never opt for Adrenaline rush. Kindly suggest which one shall I pick.
To answer your queries 1. If it’s come to suspension comfort level for any kind of bikes, visit the showrooms and feel it while test riding. because expectation on the comfort level we should feel it our own rather than a third person words. 2. U mentioned daily up & down range - 70kms and weekly - 180 kms. not sure how you calculated but for the safer side I took weekly it’s around ~200 kms. For reasonable mileage u can go with the Honda CB350 (35 km/l) 3. after sale support point of view and mentioned that u belong to Chennai. We can easily find both (Honda and Yezid) service stations. For service cost we couldn’t say high or low with respect to bikes and brands. genuine spare parts always cost as it worth. so far I owned cb350 and free serviced twice and it cost around 1800 for each with the oil and oil filter change. 4. For cruising around 60-75 Honda CB 350 is best for smoothy and comfort rides. In case of front seat, both vehicles are good enough and there is no much difference found between these 2 vehicles. But in the case of a pillion seat (back seat), Royal enfield is much bigger, softer, and better. i think butt covering area of pillion riders is same for both the bikes.re soft seats. honda hard seats.hard seats are good for long rides. soft seats are for city rides. many choose re for the sake of brand name. service centres of honda should be increased. i think dealers are not sure whether investing money for bingwing will return profit. honda should combine their red wing and big wing together. who uses turn by turn navigation in those two bikes? i think that's a gimmick these two brands market to increase the value for money. may be in re Himalayan 450 it's good. but these two bikes don't need that feature. what about visibility of rear-view mirrors in those two bikes? after test riding both i vote for cb350.
Length of the CB350 may higher than RE but pillion seat is little bit longer than CB. Pillion seat is more comfortable than CB 350. I am giving this opinion after personally seated in both vehicles for a quite long distance. I have 2017 model RE which I hate because of this seat comfortable of Pillion. Reborn is good comparatively. Honda big wing needs to have more service center and we don't know yet about the quality of service. Mirror view is better is honda because of less vibration. About to talk about himalayan 450, I won't recommend this because this has valve clearance issue. I know your are comparing only the navigation also in which we need to keep our phone screen to turn on all the time for the screen cast. Both vehicles are almost equal in torque. Honda CB produces max torque in less rpm but you have to give more throttle because of tall gearing. Whereas in Royal enfield little throttle is enough. 2 um almost same thaan hills erum podhu neega light honda ku adhigama throttle koodukanum. Better in real time honda

Service costs may vary and depends upon the service station. If it comes to spare part replace will cost about the market standard price. If replacing with low quality parts obviously ur cost of service will low. but replacing with OEM parts will cost as it is.

If replacing with low quality parts obviously ur cost of service will low.
