Being a owner of cb 350 highness for the past 10 months and new RE 350. I find highness is better than RE in term of mileage and long ride comfort. Out of the box exhaust sound in amazing in highness as well.
The gear dropping feature is actually good because it do not let the engine work in too much of load , even if you are in 4th or 5th gear and you try to pull the bike from 40 to 80 it will affect the engine efficiency and secondly Honda cb 350s engine is more refined which means better milage and Engine performance, otherwise both bikes are really good
I had the BS4 Classic 350 which was riddled with quality issues and then upgraded to the Reborn 350 which was a refinement well worth. My RE is currently at close to 37000kms and three months ago bought the CB350 immediately after taking a test drive and now is at closer to 7000kms. Classic 350 issues show up even if you are periodically maintaining, heavier clutch, tapet noise issues, over heating and the vibrations have only gotten worse over time and rusting which is the most problematic. The CB350 have made me not touch the Classic. The Honda refinement level is day and night compared to the RE. Smoother, lighter clutch, easier in traffic and more comfortable. The service interval for the Honda is 6000km and the service experience is also very good compared to the horrible service centers RE has but you have to beware the Bigwing dealerships are not so common so if you dont live closerby to one then Honda may not be a right option but the interval is longer it will be worth it in longer long. The Honda sounds way better compared to the newer RE 350 models. Louder and thumpier.
@along with Amit- You could not go beyond 110 since you shifted to 5th gear. Here the 5th gear is just overdrive. You will achieve top speed in 4th and then upshift to 5th once you have reached your selected speed. The RPMs will come down for a relaxed ride.
@@blackanime320 its our personal choice bro. I am getting a reliable engine, tubeless tyres, bluetooth connectivity, more power and torque and this bike make a spectacle of oneself. Royal enfield 350 cc bikes are very common.
How is the ownership experience?? Did the bike have any scratches while taking delivery?? I have booked the classic 350 and would like to know your experience
Hi!! You mentioned that Classic is more comfortable than CB350, so if comfort is the deciding factor then should I go for classic? I have lower back pain so I need a bike that is comfortable and my current options are Classic, CB350 and Meteor. Any other suggestions are welcome as well
Pls take a test ride before buying. I ride Honda highness regularly, the seats are stiff but suspension is good enough ! During the test drive I felt the classic was more comfortable for ME than the Honda and meteor . Only when you test ride you'll understand the comfort levels as it depends on your height , seating preference and weight of motorcycle
For lower back pain issues, you should not be roding heavy bikes at all. I think you would be better off with Xpulse 200 due to its suspension, weight factor, easy manoeuver ability and adjustability. Else look for similar segment bikes like Honda CB200 X or Vstrom 250 or KTM 250 adventure. If you want Royal Enfield only, you can go for Scram 411 or himalayan but they are heavier. Yet they are better than classic in terms of weight snd suspension.
Bro i have ridden all the 3 bikes .. and i am a fan of the Royal Enfield's until they began to drop build quality and Durability . I got the CB350 and its like butter on the highways .. if you want durability and good quality go for Honda aak bund karke .. at the end it depends on personality to personality .. SO take a test ride of all 3 bikes and trust me you will know which one to go for .. Good luck and Ride Safe Brother..
Bro one question please help me with that, you're the best person to ask: Which bike susspension is better for me and pillion both Classic 350 Reborn H'ness CB 350 Honda CB 350 My weight is 102kg and our road are very unbalanced and have potholes
I’ll will recommend you to take a test ride with and without the pillion It will help you decide better I think cb350 will be easy to manoeuver as compared to classic, as its lighter plus you have a pillion too but it will only get clear after a test ride
if you consider pillion comfort, then classic 350 takes the cake. Honda Cb350 is not comfortable for pillion when it comes to bad roads, it feels stiff
Bhai, if you get another chance to buy from hness or classic which would you choose? Second question is which has better suspension comfort and is the difference in suspension comfort significant?
If you are into adventuring, go for bikes with dual start mechanism(self and kick)...I used to take old classic with kick for my adventure(solo) pretty fine with the kick back up... Since I'm into going to remote villages farm from towns and cities, there is hardly any mechanic to fix it... 2022 i took the new classic 350 to Myanmar (rainy season) self stopped working and since their roads are constructed/dug over the mountains(like the stock charts) solo riding is difficult(would be difficult with helpers considering the weight of the bike... To sum up, i wasn't able to take my bike asking with me so i left my bike at some trusted people's house in Myanmar and took it only in 2023 Nov... Only the bearings were left of my bike(which only had a problem of self start)... Unless you want to ride in cities or on highways where mechanics are easily available, don't buy classic 350 or any other heavy duty bikes without dual starting options
classic is good but.. CB 350 is much longer & bulky.. Gear shifting is much better in CB than classic due to sleeper clutch.. Cb is made on 1970 hoda theme so it's not a copy.. Or now a days RE classic is very common & local that every 2nd has classic. So I prefer CB over this
I got maroon cb350 on march 1st service done & it has clocked 730+kms from 4months in city traffic ride that to in rain time i love how i can ride this bike in ease & my bro has re con gt & classic too I'm fed up of them even serving is worst they r changing the good parts to the worn out parts & blame on us for driving badly but in honda i can assure the parts will be there only without any exchange or refit with old parts
Yes, during my bike search I found below points: -Service fraud is more common in Re. -Irritating sound issue definitely come after some time from classic J series & no solution because it is built issue. -Silencer loosen issue in many classic. -For the sound issue mechanics are charging 17k, 25 k. -One reputed mechanic said there engine magnet is very heavy due to which it loosen from left or right and that side it sounds with unusual noise.
@@zarvistech7088 you have classic or bullet with j series engine then I recommend you to watch ncr motorcycle youtube channel where he already given the solution of sound issue of the engine its due to the heavy camp shaft and poor ball bearing I think but I dont remember clearly

I have owned the RE Electra Twin Spark for over 10 years now… What I like:- 1) Riding Posture 2) Suspension comfort 3) Low end Torque 4) The exhaust note The likes end right here… What I dislike:- 1) Terrible overall quality 2) Bad gear box (notchy) 3) Vibrationssssssssssss 4) Batteries drain too quickly 5) Rust 6) Unreliable, doesn’t want to start at random times even with regular use. 7) Terrible rear brakes (does not inspire confidence). 8) Shoddy fuel tank cap (have tried many things to resolve this, still gets stuck. 9) Service centers suck donkey balls at times. I am surprised to read comments here where people are hung over the RE brand so much that they pay a massive premium for terrible build quality, where there are other brands who build top notch stuff. I am selling my Electra after a lot of frustration in keeping up with repairs and expenses, yet not getting enough confidence on its reliability. Unfortunately this is the truth!! Going for the CB 350 DLX PRO.
Honda CB350 is known for its engine reliability and smoothness. RE on the other hand provides low quality engine with a lot of vibrations. Their parts also get rusty after a couple of years. Do a comparison of the parts and features of both bikes and check their pricing. RE provide very less features and are scamming their customers for such a helfty price. There is a reason why Honda bikes are well known globally.
Thanks for making this video I was very confused about RE and Honda 350 h'ness. Took ride for hyness but not happy with this gearing radio thing, ( Also h'ness and cb 350 looks smaller as compared to RE, After spending 2.5lac huge price to bike. it is my personal opinion) i am a Honda unicorn user since 16 years. Now going with Royal Enfield bullet 350 after watching your this video and previous video. Thanks bro. Very helpful.
I’m 5’10 Yes Classic/ Bullet is comfortable but I cannot say that its a better bike. Seating and handle position are good but what actually matters is when the bike is on the move, on highways, cities, its handling, manoeuvrability, and user feedback. Also, both bikes have their own Pros which i discussed. After this, a test-ride with all the points in mind from the video can be a deciding factor.

wait a second did you just say at 11:50 Honda copied RE classic? Bro, do some research, this is Honda's own design goes way back in 50s, 60s , 70s; if anything RE copied Honda. I had RE Classic 500 and recently took Honda H'ness, Quality, engine response, refinement, gear shifting, weight distribution in every category it's NOT EVEN CLOSE. Honda beats RE in EVERY aspect of a good touring and city bike EVERYY.

I have had an RE, I had a pleasant experience and now I have bought the Honda, having an amazing experience with it as well.
I drove both these motorcycles. Honda cb350 butter smooth engine with decent exhaust, gud mileage than re classic.. When u lean the bike on sideways honda feels easy to lift up compared to classic. Honda offers slipper clutch assist, led headlamps, comfy seats unlike in classic. Breaking felt gud on both bikes. Classic signal marsh grey is dope in luk & honda Marshal green different from other colors. No vibs felt in cb350 even in high speed unlike classic ! Honda cb350 inspiration frm 1970 models & its not a copy of classic. I m 6.1" height & felt more comfortable in cb350 than re. Both are legendary retros & buying option depends on individual preferences. For me i liked honda cb350 better than classic bcz of abv reasons.
The Enfield 350 sells very well here in Britain BUT....there are far more well established Honda dealers here and throughout europe. It will be interesting to see how well the GB350S sells when it arrives
I own cb300f. I also noticed that you have to maintain speed according to gears. High gear and low speed creates engine kocking. I guess all honda bikes have that even cbr250. I was riding my friends bullet 350 I was surprised that even in high gear low speed there has no knocking. Makes your life much easier slow moving traffic
For me everything is betted on classic except comfort but the maintenance cost of this cb is way to high for me..thats why I’m leaning towards re…if only re resolved the fuel guage problem
I recently purchased a Honda CB 350 Highness, but now I'm regretting not choosing a Royal Enfield. Dealing with Bangalore traffic, I find myself frustrated with frequent gear changes, as the gear ratio is not suitable for daily commuting. If you're considering a bike for everyday use in Bengaluru traffic, opting for a Royal Enfield might be a better choice.

I wouldn't consider either one. Back in the mid '80s, I had a Honda CB350 Twin. Carbureted. It was a wonderful bike. It would handle 75 mph all day. Wish I still had it, or something like it. I now have several bikes, one of them being a bought new 2013 Royal Enfield B5 Bullet 500. It came with EFI, and the worst exhaust system I've ever seen. I quickly replaced the horrible and WAY too lean EFI with an Amal Concentric MK1 carburetor, properly jetted, and a nice exhaust from Hitchcock's. It now runs and rides beautifully, but has a top speed (for me) of around 55 MILES per hour. It will go faster, but I don't ride it faster, because it feels and sounds like the engine is going to fly apart. The Honda was smooth all the way up to top speed. But smooth is not why I bought the Royal Enfield. I wanted the feel and sound that come from a long stroke British single. Not only is the Classic 350 too smooth for me, but it's EFI cannot be replaced with a carburetor (same for the Honda, also the Honda has WAY too much flat black for me) and neither are capable of sustained 75 mph+ riding. I have a Harley Davidson Sportster 1200 for that. It's also carbureted, has a great sound and feel, and will go way faster than I will ever need it to.
Legacy and Heritage should not be compared with better mileage....RE carries some memories. However, I totally understand the POV of people who already brought Honda

The rider completely missed out to why the gear ratio is chosen as such, it's because you will be riding this mostly in city where a good midrange with torque is required, and so that you don't have to shift gears too much. Mileage, he skips on mileage completely. And sound is subjective, nowadays every chapri is going to slap an exhaust anyways, gota break the norm. Again gear paddle can be changed, and again you can tweak your rear I think. Honda CB350 it's not new, for those who don't know the word CB350 will never know what Honda brings to the table, it's the legacy of the same 1960s engine, and it's reliable and no nonsense durable engine.
10% engine sound....90% exhaust sound in honda.....now thats called refinement ❤

I buy today which one i can select HIGHNESS OR CB 350? PLEASE REPLY IMMEDIATELY
Take a test ride of both the bikes
It will help you decide.
You can also try cb350rs once
@@alongwithamit. Already taken test drive and totally confused

Good choice bro 🍻
Same here😂
How is the ownership experience??
Classic is almost 9 to 10 kg heavier than cb 350 and classic has less torque than cb 350 so chose wisely
Taking a test ride may clear all the doubts, seating, handling and control also!
You can also try out the new Himalayan
Bro one question please help me with that, you're the best person to ask:
Which bike susspension is better for me and pillion both
Classic 350 Reborn
H'ness CB 350
Honda CB 350
My weight is 102kg and our road are very unbalanced and have potholes
I’ll will recommend you to take a test ride with and without the pillion
It will help you decide better
I think cb350 will be easy to manoeuver as compared to classic, as its lighter plus you have a pillion too
but it will only get clear after a test ride
if you consider pillion comfort, then classic 350 takes the cake.
Honda Cb350 is not comfortable for pillion when it comes to bad roads, it feels stiff
cb pillion seat isnt comfortable
Bhai, if you get another chance to buy from hness or classic which would you choose? Second question is which has better suspension comfort and is the difference in suspension comfort significant?
Classic 350 again.
But, i like the engine on Honda 350 more.
Gearbox on RE 350.
Both the suspensions are somewhat identical.
Both Maintenance cost and service intervals
Bought CB350 DLX Pro in the first week of Aug, what a superb bike🤌🏻🤌🏻. Really, in love with this.
Great
thanks for sharing!
classic is good but.. CB 350 is much longer & bulky.. Gear shifting is much better in CB than classic due to sleeper clutch.. Cb is made on 1970 hoda theme so it's not a copy.. Or now a days RE classic is very common & local that every 2nd has classic. So I prefer CB over this
Very good review specifically about gears ratio thanks
Thank You
Which one is having better and softer rear suspension for pillion comfort?
Maybe CB350 but you should test ride with a pillion.
Not completely sure because I did not
Very informative comparison video, is this bike only available in bigwing showrooms?
I bought RE classic 350 black in 2017, still going strong, made like a gun.
Great Motorcycle🔥
I got maroon cb350 on march 1st service done & it has clocked 730+kms from 4months in city traffic ride that to in rain time i love how i can ride this bike in ease & my bro has re con gt & classic too I'm fed up of them even serving is worst they r changing the good parts to the worn out parts & blame on us for driving badly but in honda i can assure the parts will be there only without any exchange or refit with old parts
great. thanks for sharing
Yes, during my bike search I found below points:
-Service fraud is more common in Re.
Amit! Thanks for these wonderful videos. I am confused between buying a Chrome Bronze or Chrome Red, can you do a video about comparing them both and sharing your experience of why you choose Bronze over Red? I am going to book in a few days. It would be helpful for me. Thank you.
I have owned the RE Electra Twin Spark for over 10 years now…
What I like:-
1) Riding Posture
2) Suspension comfort
3) Low end Torque
4) The exhaust note
The likes end right here…
What I dislike:-
1) Terrible overall quality
2) Bad gear box (notchy)
3) Vibrationssssssssssss
4) Batteries drain too quickly
5) Rust
6) Unreliable, doesn’t want to start at random times even with regular use.
It has been almost 2 months of this bike and i find it much better than royal Enfield. The beat thing is comfort and engine
Thanks for making this video
I was very confused about RE and Honda 350 h'ness.
Thank You 😄👍🏽
Both the bikes are really good.
But cb350 is bulkier then classic right
@@akashuday7107 classic 350 is bulkier than cb350
What's your height? Isnt bullet 350 more comfortable since its handle is higher than classic and seat is more comfortable than classic
I’m 5’10
Yes Classic/ Bullet is comfortable but
I cannot say that its a better bike.
Seating and handle position are good but what actually matters is when the bike is on the move, on highways, cities, its handling, manoeuvrability, and user feedback.
Also, both bikes have their own Pros which i discussed.
After this, a test-ride with all the points in mind from the video can be a deciding factor.

Im confused with RE and Honda.. My friend has a highness and he vouch for it.. But somehow i feel like test riding the new reborn classic and the bullet 350(maybe becoz ive used an RE before)..
Ur vidoes are very helpful.. And ive to tell u it is also a reason for me to think about taking a test ride of RE..
Keep up ur good work mate..
Thanks,

wait a second did you just say at 11:50 Honda copied RE classic? Bro, do some research, this is Honda's own design goes way back in 50s, 60s , 70s; if anything RE copied Honda. I had RE Classic 500 and recently took Honda H'ness, Quality, engine response, refinement, gear shifting, weight distribution in every category it's NOT EVEN CLOSE. Honda beats RE in EVERY aspect of a good touring and city bike EVERYY.
MOST AWAITED COMPARISION... HONDA REALLY MADE A VERY TOUGH COMPETITION..GOT TO ACKNOWLEDGE THAT .. BUT I LOVE MY BRONZY ❤️ 🥉
Hi there, I just wonder why there is no comparison between RE Meteor 350 and CB350? Thanks.
Because CB350 is a copy of Classic 350. However, I had the same confusion but I ended up with CB350 rather than Meteor. No single regret😊
I own both meteor and classic and I can say CB350 compares more to classic. Engine wise, both classic and meteor share the same engine.

Honda cb350 butter smooth engine with decent exhaust, gud mileage than re classic..

Honda offers slipper clutch assist, led headlamps, comfy seats unlike in classic.
Breaking felt gud on both bikes.
Classic signal marsh grey is dope in luk & honda Marshal green different from other colors.

The Enfield 350 sells very well here in Britain BUT....there are far more well established Honda dealers here and throughout europe. It will be interesting to see how well the GB350S sells when it arrives

Hello brother, I wanted to know which one would you pick, if you were given option. Hness cb350 or cb350rs? Is the exhaust note same?
Cb350
Both the bikes are same
just cosmetic changes

I own cb300f. I also noticed that you have to maintain speed according to gears. High gear and low speed creates engine kocking. I guess all honda bikes have that even cbr250. I was riding my friends bullet 350 I was surprised that even in high gear low speed there has no knocking. Makes your life much easier slow moving traffic

Mileage and long term service cost
That’s Great!
Among the two, I like the engine on Honda 350 and the gearbox on Classic 350.
It's nice that RE can be pull at any gear without knocking or stalling but it decreases the life of engine so it's better to match the rev and gear
Which of these looks huge?
CB350 is larger in dimensions
But Classic looks fuller and bulky

In India the CB350 looks like the Royal Enfield 350 Classic. Made by the same engine company?
