really curious. since your opted for the rans vs. the kitfox how do you plan on putting on the wings since the wings dont fold like the kitfox. i too am planning on using my garage for a build but am not sure what to do if i go with a rans because the wings will be too wide to get the plane out of the garage. i really like your videos. and thank you for your service.
Thanks, Mark! I’ll rent a Uhaul/Ryder truck to haul everything (in pieces) to the airport in a couple months where I’ll do final assembly in my hangar. For me, the folding wings of the Kitfox weren’t an asset. In fact, they’re more of a liability. Shorter chord, lower G-rating, less fuel, more drag…….
