Good work but I'm sick to death of browns and grey. I staple up beautiful fabrics as wall coverings because we're not allowed to paint. I have a gorgeous deep red tablecloth from France on one wall, and antique rose and soft green jacquard bedstead weaving in my little " library/ media"" room. Looks wonderful and satisfys my need for color!!!
It looks really nice, but there should be a special place in hell for people who use glue to put up any type trim or paneling. If somebody else wants to change the decor, it fuks up the whole wall. Nail holes can be patched. Paint lines can be sanded. Big rip marks... grrrrr!
I guess it's okay if you're the owner of the place and don't intend to move; so thr only person you could possibly inconvenience is future you. If you're in a rental or any other place where you're not staying permanently, definitely don't do that.

Agreed, i bought a house where they glued everthing. And i mean everything. I have random things stuck in the kitchen that i dont want and cant get off, and i had to get the place professionally patched and painted cause there was just so much stuff on the walls. ....and then theres the bathrooms, i can live with it, but my 6ft plus roommate is at an inconvenient for all the shelves they glued in what was the kids bathroom Should note, all the stuff outside the kitchen had screw holes, but they chose to glue. And personally even though i now own the house, I'm sticking with tensiin rods, pull away strips or nails for things in the kitchen.

I went to school back in the early 70's. I can pick paintings for a residence but I do not paint the pictures. Every art form will mature over time as a better mouse trap is made with new blood and new ideas. I watch Holmes repair of others bad work. I enjoy watching the correct and better works. I also an actor and watch musical theatre. I carry a tune but not great but watch and enjoy. Like a lot of sports like watching that which they will never do. Designer point to what they and learn more. You learn more.

Like my master room is pink with unicorn and butterfly everything, my dining room is camo and antlers, and my living room is hand-me-down mismatch lol. Few people would want my decorating, but I love it and that's what matters. I'm glad this lady is happy with how hers turned out too.

Get a hand held steamer. I've never ironed anything. Like, no joke. I got one when I moved out of my parents' house and have never needed anything else.

I got one when I moved out 4 years ago and have never needed an ironing board ever! It practically melts out the wrinkles!
Quick tip for making sure your boards are always flush with your wall: fill the gaps/spaces with caulk or drywall mud! Clear silicone caulk would be easier because it doesn't require sanding and repainting the surrounding walls. It makes the job look extra professional, and in my opinion it makes painting corners a lot easier. Hope that helps!

That piece of decor on the left of the bed is a jar and it's tunisian we use it to cold water in summer and the clay gives a good taste to water we use it also to prepare meat in traditional occasions 😊
