I brewed 2 Solomon Grundy country wine kits 5 years out of date. The yeast survived in 1 but not the other. But they were probably French wine yeast strains, that's one of the Austrailian Mauribrew yeast strains and Austrailians are as tough as old boots. They have to survive being surrounded by snakes, spiders and scorpians every night then wake up and punch a kangaroo, of course it will have survived 🤣
Hahaha. Ive managed to have other yeast come to life but only up to 4 years passed their bbd. I suppose it depends on the strain and the conditions it has been kept. I expect this has been at the back of a kitchen cupboard for all those years. Sadly, it did not ferment 😭
That would be crazy!! 😂😂
Bet it will as it was in a sealed packet let's hope anyway
I'm an optimist. I say yes.👏
