Good Day, Sir, you are an excellent Tutor... I have been doing your online tutorial for Excel and was extremely happy to find that you also offer tutorial on outlook. I would like to learn how to set up meetings for groups and send out invites, links and attachments for these meetings.
I'm an older lady and not technology minded, so every time Outlook "up-date" they make such a mess of my correspondence and I have to get someone - usually next doors grandson - to sort it. Why do they keep doing this? I really don't understand and find it very upsetting.
The developers (people who get their kicks from coding/ programming) think their new tweaks are just that amazing that everyone needs to learn an entirely new way of doing what they have been doing for many months, years or even decades. The developers are on the forefront of the experience of individuals who are exposed to tech and new software all the time. They don't even notice that for us normal people, it's extremely disruptive to make changes to known functionalities. To them, it's just par for the course, so they don't even notice it's a problem. Then you get these idiots actually thinking the styles and features they've come to enjoy or how they want to execute them is the same for everyone. I'd imagine most of these coders have Issues with theory of mind and can't really place themselves into the experience of normal people who don't do this for a living. Bunch of idiots in control.

Jamie, Looking to replace Mozilla Thunderbird because it has started moving extremely slowly. Considering going back to MS Outlook. Don't like the cost because I only need an email client. Your videos are great! Quick question. When I'm printing an email, is there a way to hide or collapse all the other recipients? Would the sender of the email have had to BCC the other recipients?
thanks, a great video - very helpful. if you could show how to delete lots of emails at the same time and funnel emails to their folders without going into the inbox that would be great, thank you😀
At the top search bar, you can search for "Rules". You can create custom rules so that emails from certain people, domains, subject lines, etc go to different folders. Its one of those things you have to play around with for a while in order to fin-tune it. As for deleting emails in bulk, you can select the first email you want to delete, scroll down to the last email you want to erase, hold the Shift key and then select the last email. This will select all emails in that range. You can then right click and choose "Delete". If there are emails in a folder you want to delete all of them in there, you can right click on the folder and choose "Delete All".
