I've been looking at tutorials for the past 2 hours and none of them made sense or worked for me, 5 minutes in and I've got the cutest hem stitch I've ever seen!!

good tutorial. just an fyi, you do not need to fold the fabric under when doing a lettuce hem. the zigzagging along the edge actually finishes the edge. by folding under, you're still leaving a raw edge on the inside of the shirt which may unravel over time. just doing the lettuce hem right over the raw edge is easier, will look better, and won't unravel

thank you!! been looking for a helpful tutorial and finally found one 💗 by the way, when you do the zigzag, do you position the fabric so that the needle goes through on the left AND right, or does it just sew on one side and miss the other?
