Why are they interspersing marmots, or Himalayan Groundhogs, with the much tinier, ferret sized prairie dog in the video?
I want two but I have two concerns. One, I'm allergic to lots of animals, is there a way to find out if I'm allergic beforehand? And two, I hear they would probably tear up my house. I want a pet though and I think this is it.

They are cute to watch but not a good pet as you cannot leave them alone for long, they need to roam and to be healthy and they need tons of attention. Whew!

ive owned pdogs for ten years and strongly disagree. they make excellent pets if they get enough kindness and attention, but their natural destructiveness is something an owner must accept.
