I know that in my Robertverse (which does incorporate the 2011 game), people were starting to become more aware of InGen's colonial history regarding Indigenous displacement.
I'm glad they canonized the name Mount Sibo instead of coming up with some other name. P.S: The volcano was in the original novel as well! The park ran on geothermal power from it.
