i think you can tell dave truly loves jack and respects him in the way he just lets the animals take over his desk every time. he's always so ocd about it except when jack is on.
Thought I'd watch some of part one two days ago and move on. Watched one part in full each of these three days and I'm convinced I'll be through all eleven parts quite quickly. Time just flies by watching these. I had forgotten how much I enjoyed these offbeat encounters when they first aired. The care taken in making this collection as complete as possible by including the parody Jack Hanna sketches (like Dave's everyone is Paul routine) and mentions of him in viewer mail is impressive beyond words. So saddened that he is currently not well at all.
By all means watch the entire series. Each one is just an adventure and a treasure! I've gone through the series twice as you'll miss something otherwise as it gets a bit crazy with Jack bringing multiple animals out so quickly.
Such a wonderful menagerie of exotic animals over the decades. Such a a wonderful friendship and with all the jokes, falling off. the couch funny when things went upside down. Thank you for your compilation s.
I love my life, but it's sad how youth fades away to old age. You lose the ability to improve certain things & must adjust & accept. Watching these two men age is a real mindf*ck, having watched these from my 19th year through college, first love, first real job, marriage, child, divorce, etc. Never forget: time waits for no man. Make the most of your life each day.

Holy crap did you see the black leopard's handler towards the end? "Time 53min" 99.99% sure it's that crazy Doc Bogdhan Antle? from the Tiger King? That blond ponytailed goof that rode elephants in his "tiger sanctuary" and had a bunch of underage 🔞 wives. He's a tiger-sized conman. Netflix did a subsequent series on him. On this show he has long sandy blond hair and mustache.

My 90 y/o mom-in-law with Alzheimer's lives with us and this series really helps for 1-2 hours a day, & all with ZERO ads. I understand Jack Hanna is suffering with that awful disease. It totally robs you of your humanity. (As I was writing this, she snuck in my room after my wife tucked her in bed and begged me for 5,000th time to take her home. She's been here for 2 years, it's brutal to watch) 😭 Take care!

Anywho, it's definitely him, only 30 years younger. The dude has a harem of young girls with no place to go and "rescues" them. He rides around on an elephant during his animal sanctuary shows. He's just another con man psychopath. But he's livin' the dream, so he says. All those big cat people are lunatics.
