Valentina, while living in the 🇵🇭Philippines, you and Sergei focus on learning to communicate (speak, read, and write) properly in English! 👍 Filipinos can understand and/or have ways to understand English language. That is, if the foreigners can speak to them in English properly!!! 😍👍
Valentina, playing beach volleyball is always fun! 😍 And that will also keep you physically fit... and interact with the locals and meet new friends. 🌞💪Try playing beach volleyball, for a start, with your kids and fellow Russians to boost your self-confidence! 👍🇷🇺🇵🇭💞

Since you will be living in Samal and most people speak visaya, I think it’s okay to learn visaya first. A lot of Filipinos would say learn Tagalog because it is the national language and most Filipinos understand it and also they use it in school together with English.😊

You can cook the shrimps in butter. Just saute it on the pan with generous amount of butter, garlic, salt and pepper. Instead of water, use soda like 7-up or sprite.

❤❤❤I love watching you Russian folks enjoying all our tropical fruits and even eating the local dishes w/ rice. Valentina you may try making avocado as a dessert. Your kids will love it. By mashing it a bit and adding condensed milk and put it in the freezer, tastes like ice cream and by the way Avocado Ice Cream is a popular flavor of ice cream to us Filipinos. Most popular is Ube and we have Jackfruit flavored ice cream too

About shrimps, we have Ginataang Hipon (Shrimps in Coconut milk), Garlic Shrimp, Garlic-Butter Shrimp, you can also add s add shrimps when cooking pansit bihon. Those are just a few examples.

hi! Val, good afternoon.. I have notice why your family is using fork only when eating instead of spoon & fork.. I just wonder.. Because the right way to do when eating is by using spoon and fork.. Your family are in love with different kind of fruits.. You guys just like to dig on it right away just like you all did to Langka/Jackfruit.. 😊 The sound that you heard is coming from a bullfrog 🐸.. It usually makes a noise after it rains even at night & sometimes crickets 🦗.. I notice your youngest son costa, looks just like you.. I think he got your eyes.. Your eldest son i think he got his look on his Dad.. Thank you! for loving filipino dishes & fruits.. God bless! Val & family.. 🙂🙏🏻❤️ 🇵🇭❤️🇷🇺

You can try that also a veggie langka, not the ripe "ginataang langka with shrimp" its very delicious its a season now of jackfruit even here in luzon lots of jackfruit you can buy at the cheapest prize. The shrimp we cook them also with butter or "sinigang na hipon" have you tried it? Its a kind of sour soup with some veggies, try to ccok them if they want. I think Tagalog is more useful because most Filipinos understand it even if they don’t speak it. I grew up in Pampanga and we speak a different language which is Kapangpangan. Somehow I also learned and speak Tagalog while growing up. Anyway, you are so lucky for getting to eat all the exotic fruits there. try avocado with powdered milk (i recomend BearBrand), cut the avocado in half and scoop out the insides, and then put it in bowl and squash and mix it with the powder milk (dont squash it too much because it becomes too slimy texture if squashed and mixed too much) you can chill it first in the fridge or eat rightaway. That recipe is my favorite since I was 10 yrs old. I am sure your kids will love it too.

Filipino is one of the subjects in schools where Tagalog grammar & vocabulary is also taught. When ur children goes to school you can learn with them thru their Filipino textbook you'll see...

Hi Val. You're asking if there is a rift or gap between Tagalog and Visayas. Somewhat true in a sense that Visayas in particular Cebuano are regionalistic by nature. Meaning they love and are proud of their language. So they'll use it and speak it. There's nothing wrong with that. So if a Tagalog is in Cebu they would rather hear them speak English than for them to speak Tagalog to them. 😁Wow! You really do love jackfruit! 😊🥰 Have you tried or have ask the locals about the Turon with Banana Saba and Jackfruit? 🤗😊 I'm just curious, is there a jackfruit in Russia? Prawns can be cooked in many ways; steamed, sweet and sour, sinigang, chili sauce and fried. 😊

By the way, there really is no war or animosity between Tagalog speaking Filipino and Bisayan people. Maybe competition, but that's all. Filipinos may joke about each others dialect out of humor or make fun of each other but with no malice😅

@@ValentinaLovingPhilippines I did it before, and the owner let me watch how they prepare my favorite dish that I always buy from them. That's how I learned how to cook it. I was their regular customer so they were happy to show me how that one particular dish is prepared and cooked.

I keep watching this video, my 3rd time 😅 I just enjoy watching you and your sons eating that jackfruit hahaha! Is jackfruit their favorite fruit in the Philippines, or do they have another favorite fruit from Thailand and the other countries you lived in? I know you mentioned they were born somewhere else and not in Russia or the Philippines.
