Who’s ever idea it was to do regular updates on TH-cam it was a great idea, we need to hear these stories and understand what’s going on from the perspective of the military. Thank you everyone for your incredible work and efforts , I would be hopeless in these situations, I feel humbled by the work you do for this country.

thank you, Storm, for sharing your story 🙏🏻 and to you, and all other brave soldiers and other emergency personnel and pilots that went the hard yards on that fateful night / in the aftermath: thank you for all your amazing efforts, you saved a lot of people (incl. airlifting good friends of mine from the very top of their roof) and sure made a world of difference to many, with deep respect ✊🏻 thank you! Kia Kaha 🙌🏻👊🏻

To all the authorities and the people in isolated communities out there doing everything they can to recover from the devastating disaster, I give my sympathy to you, and hopefully, all will be well in the end. It's almost a month since at the time I wrote this. Kia Kaha!

You took my neighbour and her two children who was parked next to me at Eskdale School and left me sitting there soaking wet with a window that wouldn't close on my ute. So I don't think what you did was heroic. I am 73 years old with health issues and I was left on my own not knowing what was happening.

Why can’t the army come back and help our communities with digging out soil
It’s a massive and overwhelming job especially for our elderly who have no help
