The ice cream cones will stand perfectly straight all by themselves is you use gumpaste to make the "ice cream" portion. If you only use regular fondant, it will be too soft and will fall over.

I liked the flowers, they made me think of water lillies. :-) I've been looking for a way to created striped tops for domed fondant cupcakes, I've been trying to join fondant strips together with limited success. Could I use this technique? How would I get the stripes a little closer together? :-) xx
+Lacey Thomlinson I do not use homemade fondant any longer. There are many wonderful brands of ready-to-use fondant available so there is no need for me to make it.
