Items like Maw and Deaths Dance are broken on champions with insane AD boosters, like Naafiri and Aatrox, as their passives scale incredibly hard with bonus AD.
So whenever you ult as Aatrox or Naafiri, you almost double the power of the item passives.

It depends but cleaver is built in the bruiser build typically
