- Well this blew up a good bit. Unexpectedly, letllive. ended up seeing this somehow and did me a huge honor in posting the video with some really encouraging words. I haven't been so humbled musically in a long time. All of the kind words from everyone and the idea that I could be a part of blessing people's days like that is honestly more than I can fully grasp at the moment.
So, thank you letlive. for making awesome music that asks solid questions while it brings people together. Thanks for honoring some guy playing music at his desk. You made a large impact in my life today, guys.

For one artist to say to another (far less experienced) artist what they said to me is so stinkin humbling. It's surreal. Thank you for the encouragement. I've not had the chance to meet them personally but they have seemed like stellar dudes in all the interviews and live sets =] Certainly their lyrics are really, really thoughtful and compelling.

Not gonna lie, I was pretty sad that you don't have more covers like this up. To play a song this raw and well is one thing, but to take a song and completely transform the style and give it your own interpretation/rendition like this, that's pure talent and artistic ability. Really hope to see more of these in the future.
