Dear boy. You are the best in the world of English teaching. I have been through a multitude of videos, but I never came across anything like your teaching. Would be casual, kind of easy going, but ever so serious and efficient. Congratulations.Konstantin in Bulgaria.
Dave, undeniably useful as always. Congrats! As your private student, I strongly recommend your on-one-one classes to all ESL students. They do make a difference in the process of learning the English language.
I think that the reason we say "Do you know of", but "Have you known of" on the other hand is that hear is a verb that indicates an instant response to something, while known started in the past and continues 'till now. For example, I heard a name once, I learned who it was, and i know of who he/she is from that moment in the past until now, while the action of hearing his name has not been a continuous procedure, but a single action in the past or maybe a sparse action at the best, but not continues. I i know someone, I constantly know him, even if I don't have my thoughts on him/her at the moment, because our minds work this way
I guess, there's one more meaning of "grow out of " That is to outgrow clothes When children become to too big to wear a piece of clothing Correct me if I am wrong
thanks man you are a very good teacher
These videos have been incredibly useful, most ESL's don't realise how important these are until they travel to an English speaking country.

Correct. It's a good one!
It would be interesting to learn about "of" and "off" difference. It's rather confusing for some. Thank you.

Certainly! Sounds good.
