The reason it was ice salt water is to preserve vital organs and brain function. There is a saying in medicine that they are not dead until they are warm and dead.

I am kinda tired of Doc and Wynonna's relationship, but I still really like Doc. Look, he's not a judgemental guy, he knows he has no right to judge anyone else, we established that in the Nedley episode. But he is right that you do not shoot someone in the back, I'm actually really disappointed in Wynonna, it wasn't his fault his mother is a vengeful witch. On the other hand, I completely understand why she did it, she just can't afford to take the risk of allowing someone to live who has the obvious potential of hurting any one of her people - she's tired.

Doc was right. She barely knew anything about the clantons before this season. It's not like we've watched them come after her for 5 seasons. She did that solely out of anger over the baby. He watched the original Earp devole and now he's watching Wynonna take a step back while he's trying to move forward. It happens.

Could not agree more, it was an emotional impulse, if it wasn't she would have done the whole "make your peace routine!. It was like watching a dog being put down, it felt weird. In a way, I think that even though she was angry she knew deep down who he was, and she just wanted to spare him a more painful death down the road... if it ever had to come to that. ...
I still think what she did was wrong - there's no doubt about that, there was no honor in it. We are now learning the kind of man Wyatt Earp was, and now Doc is afraid that the gun is turning her into him.
I'm a little disappointed that the gun isn't a sword anymore, because guns are just so final, they're not as versatile.

Doc dude taking the moral high ground is expected. I guess because a mother's reaction is something he will never get to understand.

Doc is completely justified in judging her. That was not what heroes do.

Don't piss off Waverly or she'll fry your head, with or without Julian's ring. Revenant jeweler dude, Bobo, and now Mam (aka: Margot).
If what Rosita said about Alice wasn't so fresh on her mind and she wasn't seeing red, essentially, when it came to Holt, I don't know if Wynonna would have killed him. Maybe later down the road or at least not in the back. She didn't really have any chats with him like Doc had.
That aside, I did find it interesting that Peacemaker glowed orange when she shot him. I really wish I knew what the colors meant.
What's going to be the #WayHaught wedding date and will we see the wedding this season? Who's doing what for the wedding?

Yeah, the whole bullett in the back was an emotional thing, it was like putting down a dog, rather than an emeny. I think in some ways she did him a favor, but the bottom line is that it was wrong, and even though it would have been really really hard, I believe that holt, Doc and Wynonna could have done something in the way of reconciling. I apreciate much more who Doc is in this season, more than the previous one's. You just don't know which way the penny will fall.
Cleo's plot is going to be interesting now, I'm not sure which way it was going to go with Margo, but the death of Holt solidifies the eventuality that Cleo will probably try to rise up against the Earps with fiery vengence - and that could potentially leave a space open for Eve on her side.

I’m generally NOT on Doc’s side, but what Wynonna did was f***ed up. 🙅🏽‍♀️

Totally and completly agree, Doc has does some bad stuff, but shooting a person in the back isn't one of them.
I think we all understand why she did it, but we still hate that she did it. ...I'm curious to know if when Cleo turns up, if Waverly will admit that it was her, Wynonna might wwant to protect her from Cleo.

Heather Glover Yeah, sometimes I think Wynonna can be very nearsighted while justifying her actions under the guise of “breaking the curse.” She doesn’t play the long game very well sometimes, and that sucks when pretty much everyone hates you and you have to be strategic in order to win. We see that the others pull her back from just leaping a lot of the times.

@@camk9332 Yeah, when Nicole said that "It has to be you" it is absolutely true to a point, but she can't do it ALL by herself. They really do keep her on track.

I’m not on docs side either especially after everything he did. Wynonna did what she thought she had to do to protect her family.

She took the easiest option, she shot a decent man in the back assuming that he was anything like his mother. Yet that's not to say that I don't understand why she did it, I do, I absolutely do, she's tired of having the people she loves getting hurt. I think that although it would have been impossible for the guy not to hold a grudge over Wynonna, I genuinly think that Doc would have helped him through it, but as for Cleo.... she's a loose canon.... so no matter who lived, she's still mad.
It's funny though, there was this whole thing about her and peacemaker not getting along, and even though she's tired of fighting, she still knows that she doesn't want her life to be like everybody else' ...
