The main issue is India is having having huge population and for that population health care sector is insufficient so private health care sector is need of hour in India but i think Government should frame a genuine rate list for various ..medical check ups and other facilities provided by these private hospitals depending on the quality of their services provided to patients

During Covid, a private hospital made a bill of ₹5-6 Lakhs from a patient with very mild symptoms. In advance stages the bill 💵 could go high over ₹10 lakhs without guarantee of survival.

My family is a covid victim. We had to admit my father to a private hospital where he stayed for 16days & his situation gradually deteriorated. We weren't allowed to meet him, only talked over phone for a very brief period. Ultimately when they insisted to put him on ventilation we shifted him to a govt aided hospital as the bill already was above 5 Lakhs. He didn't survive though. I experienced the naked reality of health facilities in our country through this incident.

You will not find one multispecialty Hospital in Delhi being run by a doctor nearly all of them all branded hospitals governed bye multi billionaire, corporate giants, who employs the doctors and its Doctor Who has to listen to the management and patient both
It’s the public who doesn’t want to go to hospital is run by solo doctors they themselves want a big multispecialty Hospital like Medanta, Apollo, Fortis, etc

This is not fair to pick up individual cases and curse the whole doctor fraternity. Not fair to disrespect the amount of time we put in our profession just to get blamed by someone “ki are ye toh blood test faltu Krwa rha hai” and also get beaten by patient’s family. And antibiotic resistance is due to otc medicine which patients take by themselves. If your father get heart attack or your brother suffers bike accident…don’t come to private hospitals bcoz wo loot lenge. 🙏

  • @Trentz2
    @Trentz2 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +10

All this is true, but it would have been nice if you included how we as consumers also contribute to the issue. People are more worried about how fancy a hospital looks, fancy services, etc rather than actual medical service. As always we are more worried about image than quality of medical care. Also the rudeness people show to over worked under paid doctors and medical staff is appalling. It’s only those useless administrators who make one hell of money, just like in college and university. Be it india be it US, it’s exactly the same.
It’s about time we too changed and gave importance to quality medical service and education rather than how fancy the place looks, the fancy name or the not required fancy services.

First step - 1. To set up a National Health Vigilance Commission to look after any kind of irregularities in both public and private sectos.
    2. To increase the share of GDP in health sector, proper infrastructure development and free health aid to the BPL people.
    3. Government regulated insurance schemes .
    4. Increasing the number of Medical colleges so that the numbers of doctors could increase.
    5. We have to be aware enough and try to avoid such traps of medical mafias.

Time for government to choose wisely between over expensive bullet train projects or some more fully equipped government medical colleges and hospitals ; average cost for medical college and hospital is 300 crore. Bullet train project costed us 1.64 lakh crores . Cost to benefit ratio lies more in favour of health care facilities . Semi high speed train are enough for now I guess like Vande Bharat

Yeah... that's ok....but one of the major problem is that the doctors are doing evils.......what can be done to that.... strict punishment must be necessary....and people also have to be aware....I mean health aware...we can't prevent all diseases but definitely some of them....by choosing healthy life style..by making poor people health aware/ kids too at school level...... nobody is safe from this medical mafias...and that's terrifying...they are equally looting rich/poor/ old/ young.....just because u r rich....u won't be safe...😖😖😖what happened to their morality?....😢 ....is this pride speaking?..like I have studied hard to become doctors so only my saying goes around?...since they expend a lot of money for studies.... that's gives them the right to loot.......that awful....🤧🤧🤧🤧🤧🤧

But I guess growth in economy also leads to more money, means more investment in what we're talking about. But both should go hand in hand, you can't achieve one without other

There must be cap on below.
    1. Hospital treatment charges.
    2. Medicine cost
    3. Medical blood test ,checkups etc
If any doctor is trying to voilet law and prescribe unnecessary medicines, TESTS, Treatment shoul be come under congigible offence and punished.

Doctors knowingly create doctor post as elite post ... And limit the no. Of vacancy in MBBS seat. Just open and increase the no. Of seat just like engineering, mba, bsc, ba degree .. In that case best of best and genuine will survive. Let's start new movement for treat mbbs degree same as other degree

We have to protest against Government first, because all tertiary care government hospitals should have these minimal infrastructures of heart attack surgery. But sadly we don't have voice against our government.
