- Matt Wright found 'Bone Cruncher' wounded in the wild after a fight with a much bigger Croc. He's spent the past 5 years keeping an eye out for him. He knows Matt's behaviour and Matt knows his, but their relationship is one in a million.
Never attempt to interact with a wild Croc

"Don't go up to a saltwater crocodile in the wild"
Yeah, I wasn't planning to, infact it has never even crossed my mind, but thanks for the headsup!
I was thinking of trying this with a big, say 6 metre, salty - but after watching this maybe I won't...
Believe it or not there are people literally that stupid.
@@nickyboy22071989 somehow i dont doubt that
@BarryJPR That story is sending chills down my spine Barry and here I am enjoying my morning cuppa...
LOL
If he had teeth and a full jaw I think I'd be reading about this in the paper.
💯💯💯💯💯🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Well yeah cuz thats kind of the point, hes been badly injured and probably alive partly because of this man.?
I agree 💯
When we found him, he was pretty injured from a fight with a big croc. We've kept an eye out for him over the past 5 years and today he's doing well.
@@onepieceguy2659 yea bloke was from costa Rica and he can only swim with that croc because it was shot in the head so bin brain damaged otherwise croc like that would kill anyone
The croc has no teeth and bottom jaw so it definitely can’t hunt, it probly relies on Matt for food so it’s smart enough not to be aggressive towards him.
having no teeth is not really a problem for crocs, its their biting force they rely on mostly.
So is this a “docile” crocodile?
still their bite strong enough to break a bone🤦...teeth is just for slice the meat
@Erik Barone طبعن فديو يخوف
هسه يهيج التمساح وياكله ههههههههه
Smart enough to not be aggressive to him cause he feeds him? 😂😂 do you speak croc?
Can’t get enough of Bonecruncher! Working with alligators really showed me how complex these animals can be with their own unique personalities, but I am blown away by this croc. We try not to anthropomorphize reptiles, yet it’s hard not to think that Bonecruncher experiences joy whenever Matt’s around and interacting with him. Sure, he’s clearly food-motivated, but his lack of aggression towards Matt makes me wonder if this croc is acutely aware of his disadvantage and recognizes the symbiotic relationship they’ve formed. The animal behavior nerd in me finds that utterly fascinating. 😄
Me to buddy
This crocodile is not normal. It is blind in one eye with a mutilated mouth and possibe brain injury. There are NO normal healthy crocodiles in Australia this size that could be interacted with in this way. If they can reach you, they WILL GET YOU. Unlike alligators their predatory instincts are not negotiable and you should not expect to get this close to a salt water crocodile in Australia.
I find nuclear weapons fascinating so I can relate.
Poor boy, glad he has someone to keep an eye on him.
Was that pun intended?
Hi
Eye see what you did there😉🐊
Does anyone else remember when Steve Irwin captured that huge crocodile that was also missing part of its lower jaw?
Yeah nahhhh
Steve Irwin was the first one that made me learn about wild animals. R.I.P.
I did cant be the same one
Was thinking the same thing
It's the same croc
Did you see the water level drop once he lifted his balls out of it 🤪
Lol
Ha ha ha 😅👍👍👍
😂 😂
I want one!
oh myyyy he peed LOL
That croc totally relies on Matt. That's awesome. It's good to see such a professional taking care of him.
The crock in its mind: " If I had my weapons, it would have been a noteworthy wrangle ."
Mick Dundee here and I would still make a great belt outta this sucka
Croc: Please fix my jaws. I'll be your friend forever
in a point
Yup very close friend inside croc belly
I just don’t trust those stealthy sneaky bastards. When I’m fishing an one goes under. I pack up an leave. My potna be like where you going? Im like one of us has to tell the story 🏃💨💨💨
🤣🤣🤣
You’re smart
It's very difficult not to read your comment in Aussie accent.
Smart move.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Matt is probably the most experienced croc guy in the world, so all you experts giving your so experienced comments wether this is right or wrong should maybe just go & gain 30 + years of saving crocs first, before you judge this guy.
Tell it Like it is u probably never heard of Steve Irwin...
@@theanonymous940 Croc didn't kill him genius.
TheAnonymous yes. But Matt is 1000 times better
@apache tyson Glad to hear it from someone who has worked with both guys and crocs. You have worked with both men, have you not?
@@theanonymous940Matt's great until he loses an arm.
I dont usually feel sorry for crocs but this guy must have lost his aggressive nature due to almost being killed in a fight
not to mention he made a good friend who saved him
I don't usually feel sorry for crocodiles as they are such brutal creatures, but this one I do feel sorry for, lucky for him he has Matt and food in his belly.
Crocodile brain r so Small I don't want go near no sah.
Understand.
@Umbrella very true lol
there predtors they have to eat
@@nols3726 there brain size dont mean anything there really intelligent
Binge watched Matt's new Netflix 10 episode doco today, so bloody awesome. R.I.P to Willow & condolences to his family, mates & work mates. Respect to Matt for dedicating it to Chris's memory.
talking to the croc like its a puppy. what a crack up just love it :)
Your dog sure love swimming :)
Australia sure does have some of the best wild life and beautiful scenic places. And very well taken care off.
in the words of Frump: "That's something, ain't that something" Even though these crocs are deadly creatures and normally we don't worry about them, the sight of seeing this croc with that injury is still painful. Crocs have it good by growing new teeth when they lose them, so not being able to grow a new jaw must be be like not getting a mile when you were already given an inch. Would be nice to see more videos of this special relationship.
OMFG!! Matt's interaction w/Croc is frigg'n amazing! I'm now addicted to watching his vids👏🙀
Imagine we find out years later that the production company ripped all its teeth out and a part of its jaw just so they could get this shot after it healed 😂😂 Love this guy
He looks friendlier than my previous boss.
This is amazing and surprisingly wholesome!
At 1:15 is when the Steve noticed the nonsense of the crocodile and remained vigilant 🤐
Can we have more of your videos with your Bone Cruncher? He’s so cute
Matt saved this doomed croc and the croc trusts him.. reminds me of the croc pacho
No teeth but pretty sure the bite could still break some bones
Yeah even without teeth it can still whip its tail and head around which have enough force to break bones also even with no teeth they can still hold ur arm or leg tight and do a death roll
@@zane9785 exactly what I thought , even drag you under and drown you .
I mean, you can stab someone to death with an spoon if you use enough force... same here
@@reckitralph1802 nah you could just pull out whatever hes holding since theres no teeth to bite down and hold also missing its lower jaw
He is beautiful ! You are very lucky !🙏🏽
Amazing the difference without teeth and a full jaw. It almost seems they are mostly harmless besides weight and tail swinging.
So cool ,great to see you and your old mate
Matt obviously knew when it was time to get the hell outta there
Absolutely amazing 👍
This croc is only around for half of the year depending on if it’s wet season or not, so it does know how to live in the wild without Matt providing food. He lost him for a while too.
I love how casual he is about it😂
Thank you for posting this video. Amazing! Tho he has no teeth he can still easily snatch up an animal or even a human and drown it.
Reminds me of the friendship of Chito ( man from Costa Rica) and Pocho (American crocodile)
Saw this crocodile on one of Matts tours in the NT. Was on an airboat in the large main lagoon he mentioned which was a natural environment only accessible by sea plane and then the airboat. It stalked the boat and then came right up to the platform where i was standing with the indigenous guide with its snout only a few inches from our feet. The guide did the same thing petting the top of it's snout and said i could also if i wanted but no f....ing way was i putting my hand anywhere near it. Doesn't look so big in this clip but if you look at it's head it is bigger than Matts upper body. I can guarantee it's huge and the raw size and power of it scared the bejesus out of me. Teeth or no teeth if it gets hold of you it's game over. I will never forget it and for him to be in the water like that even though he 'knows' it is insane. If you ever get the chance to go to Darwin make sure you go on Matt's Seaplane adventure. Expensive but worth every cent. Will never forget it.
P.s. They don't feed it.
These animals are just born warriors. Imagine explaining that to your homiez, "I got my jaw ripped off in a fight by another human". "Oh yeah, he bit it off".
Brave crocodile
being that close to an Australian
My feet are 3ft off the sofa as I watch
crocs like “matt where you goin, thought we was friends?”
A crocodile without teeth is like a gecko lol 😂
That's fucked up smh lmao
Aww poor thing no teeth.. But still would not go in the water still can do some serious damage. But this man helping him or her is a good thing. I love how this man helps and save crocodiles and alligators with disabilities.
First time seeing a toothless croc.
This man is a legend you are One crazy man Matty
Wow. That is a huge croc. How big was the one it fought with?
Thanks for the advice matt, I'm about to go to find myself a salt water crocodille but because your word I decided no to do it
Definitely 1 in a million
Crock is really saying to himself, " man if i only had teeth mate... If i only had teeth!"
iv never felt so bad for a crocodile before, poor thing is missing half its jaw and an eye, its a miracle that its alive
Insane man that I have my respect with for being brave getting near those deadly creatures 💪
Sure, but the crocodile has no teeth
maybe the first time I've ever felt bad for one of these beasts
Woow. Amazing.
This croc doesn't just have no teeth, it doesn't have half its jaw!
That's the same Croc that was eating the turtle and we thought the shell cracked! But now we see the funny side...
1 word amazing
Just incredible.
He's a clever croc on survival mode. He knows you'll feed & look after him. The moment you don't, even without part of his bottom jaw or most of his teeth, he'll make a meal out of you.
Though it has damaged jaw yet it could have been dangerous as it could have given a death roll to anyone whose arm it got hold of.
Croc : i need your help.....
Man : now i will humiliate u....
this reminds me of Pocho.
Very similar relationship between a human and a croc.
Croc: "You should see the other guy..."
That Croc behaving like a puppy. His gestures it's like a pet hehehehehehehe. Matt should have done that to Gustav heheheheheh.
Ahaha!! He's beggin like a dog. 😂😍
So I would of just noped out of that, nope nope nope!
Crocs are scary af
Crocs probably like why are you hitting the water
A smol creature is flabbergasted
Amazing
RIP Bonecruncher 😢favourite croc gone today
You are awesome😊
Croc be like: am hurr to play, donut run
The mad thing about this guy is at one point he thought "I will see if I can play with this croc".
Itu bukan biasa bro......terbaik utk seekor binatang sebaya itu I love you jobs bro
Respect to you Matt Wright
Matt's Big Croc's are the closest thing today, to having a real Jurassic Park!
Ini baru pawang.... Love u
The croc was smiling!!
Crocodiles confound me, on one hand they are vicious extremely vicious predators that have a unmatched survival killer instinct, then on the other hand you have what seems to be a primitively sentient animal that seems no matter how rudimentary to be able to be trained. The Croc in this video almost seems to be having fun and enjoying the company, I will take into effect that this crock is injured and has no teeth but that would seem to make a person think that this type of croc would be looking for easy prey anyhow I digress. They are indeed a magnificent machine of nature.
They are intelligent, and the mothers are very protective of their children and nurture them. They have had about 240 million years to learn a bit about the world.
poor Boney :(, he's been through the ringer
Crocodile without teeth?.. 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣
1:29 no wait friend where are you running
Jaw Dropping ~ Enormous Balls
Guauu
Mi admiración para este hombre..
Yo no sería capaz ni aún por dinero..
Him and the late Steve Irwin would have made a great team
Amazing'😊😰😰😰😰🙏🙏🙏💪🇯🇵
playful puppy 🐊 😁
Even without any teeth and a lost eye and part oh his jaw missing, that thing can still break your bones with it's jaw pressure, so don't be like "ah it's harmelss look at him" ...
You can only train a disable crocs You funny man !
It’s just like what the late Crocodile Hunter caught that lost it’s lower jaw from another Crocodile. Only it was Bigger. This Salty is different & it’s a good thing it wasn’t attacking.
This seems like a nice, safe activity
Ha funny!
It’s like a cute dog lol nature is scary and beautiful
the is still smiling 😂
So what the crocodile eat everyday if he doesn't have teeth? Is it ground beef?
1 fail can close 999 success.
That croc couldn't eat you if it wanted to.
Never bite the hand that feeds you.! They didn't survive the dinosaur dynasty for nothing.
Thanks matt im going to try this .......ill let u know how it goes.
No teeth, one eye, and half a jaw.. poor thing. Amazing it’s even still alive
even with half a jaw and no teeth his bite could still crush your bones never underestimate these animals
When does jaws shout you a beer😆😆
If that croc had half a set of teeth, I don't think Matt would be knee deep.
Might be knee deep in another sense of the word
Dear brother , be always cautious and careful ,while dealing with wild animals . At the time of speaking , never take eyes from them , I mean not look at camera . Please take adequate safety materials with u always . The world always need u like peoples .
With love from Kerala , India .
