@@carlakenyon6073 not sure if you agree with me lol or are saying a babies breath is just a babies breath, in which case a baby is new to the world. Or maybe I’m just justifying the answer and it’s a long stretch.
@@d_trick89 Don't know if you intended this, but that was pretty funny! From Wikipedia: Gypsophila paniculata, the baby's breath, common gypsophila or panicled baby's-breath, is a species of flowering plant in the family Caryophyllaceae So yes, you totally CAN smell baby's breath the flower! 😊
@@pgh45rpms however the question was "name something you can tell is new by the way it smells." You can't tell the difference between Milk that is 4 days old or fresh.
Are you sure about that? Old paint smells the same as new paint. If it's a no brainer, how do you tell the difference? Now, if you said "something with fresh paint", that would be a no brainer. But just paint? No...
Who did they interview? Were they on crack? Why not carpet, flowers, paint, book, or even fresh bread makes more sense than milk. Maybe they interviewed 100 dairy farmers.
Wouldn't bread (or really any baked goods - love the aroma walking by a donut shop in the early morning or late at night when they make the donuts) be better than milk? BTW, leather is mostly a duplicate of clothes/shoes. Leather accessories are rarer. . .
I mean, food smells good when it is new but try having it for a couple of days and... you know. Who answers such a question "rose" or "milk" though? I mean these are too specific. Should be "flowers" and "food".
That was a bad Q&A. Answers one and two were obvious but answers three and four were stupid, and the premise of the query doesn't fit the quality of the game. You can't actually tell if something is new solely by how it smells. There's "new car smell air fresheners" you can hang on your rear view mirror. This one was just wrong from start to finish.
I can’t believe i was the only one who screamed milk. Milk doesn’t last long in the fridge so it’s still relatively new once it expires. That’s why people answered milk on the survey.
Leather can also be belt, bag/briefcase, wallet, accessories, upholstery.....It has a very distinct smell when it's new, so I can see why they gave that answer.
book was one of my answers
Book my first guess loved smelling new books at school as a teenager when giving out books in classroom
MUCH better than milk or rose!! I guess people don't read actual books anymore
@@JudiStevenson-Garciabooks are all digital now no one reads physical books anymore i agree
How in the living hell can someone's breath smells "new"? As opposed to old? LMAFOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! Dude's a real piece of work.
You’ve never smelled a babies breath?? Lmao
A baby’s breath is just that
@@carlakenyon6073 not sure if you agree with me lol or are saying a babies breath is just a babies breath, in which case a baby is new to the world. Or maybe I’m just justifying the answer and it’s a long stretch.
Breath is just as wild answer as milk.

I'm sorry, but how is a BOOK not an answer here?
Nobody buys books anymore.😢
They didn't ask enough people who have read books. XD
The only book some people know is "Book 'em, Danno."
@@Bigfoot-px9gjeven that is old school! 😂
Book
Thanks what I was thinking.
New book (and old book for that matter) has a prominent smell.
Part of the reason I loved going to bookstores before my stroke left me a shut-in was the smell, whether the store sold old books or new ones.
Clothes and flowers were all I could think of, and I agree with Steve's point regarding the smell of milk.
I love how Steve is just as confused as we are when MILK was on the board. 😂😂😂
Milk only last for a relatively short time in your fridge so it has to be new or relatively new in order to not smell spoiled.
Milk smells when it goes bad, but not if it's "new".
@@pgh45rpms however the question was "name something you can tell is new by the way it smells." You can't tell the difference between Milk that is 4 days old or fresh.
Me the entire time: BOOK!
A Baby … Any parent knows that.
I know that's right
What about....
An aborted fetus?

I was also thinking that.
Congratulations 🔥 0:50
Paint is a no brainer

I was thinking "books" the entire time, surprised it wasn't there
Mine.
1. Car
2. Book (that new book smell... love it!)
3. Baby (new baby smell, doesn't last long)
4. Leather
Yeah, I guessed baby and book as well
I would have said a book
Milk & Rose are horrible answers. The last 2-3 answers are always so horrible lol
Horrible!!!
Milk was such a weird one. The carpet would have been a better option, or a newly built house.
The point was, i think, that you can tell milk is old or in bad state with smell.
Exactly!
They survey a hundred people.
I totally agree and leather too!!
I was thinking bread and books.
New currency notes always smells good, yes it does. 💵 💵 💵
You would not know that as you are poor. I am warning you and your accounts, STOP harassing me and others or you will persecuted’
Oh yeah, good one!
"Name something you can tell is new by how it smells."
I would have said .. a baby!!
Exactly what I was thinking! Babies for those first six months or so just have a certain smell.
@@jntdhome the diaper gives to much away in that sense. ha ha ha.
Well, in light of Thanksgiving being around the corner I'm gonna say sweet potato pie!
My first two thoughts were "car" and "food."
I would say before I heard the answers: fish, corpse, car, house, flowers.
OMG... I feel so good... except my first answers didn't make it.
Corpse Lol
Rose and milk were two dumb answers, whoever answered those surveys. I thought carpet and house were better answers.
i thought coat of paint would be up there
I hadn't thought of that, but that is pretty distinctive.
where can I see the whole episode?
I can't believe "books" isn't on there.
Book, Wallet, Plastic, Car, Fabric, Clothes
Cousin Steve looking cold in his Lemon Lime Gatorade suit!
BOOKS, furniture, mattress
How tf is Book not up there?! That’s the first thing you do when getting a book! Smell it!
Boyfriend/Girlfriend
purse or handbag.
A person was my answer. Babies smell so sweet!
First thought: book, clothes, money, house (paint) 😅
Isn't that the same family that had the Mr. Potato head Steve Harvey? I believe they lost on the 1st day. They brought them back for a rematch?
Who did they interview? Were they on crack? Why not carpet, flowers, paint, book, or even fresh bread makes more sense than milk. Maybe they interviewed 100 dairy farmers.
They need a better survey group. Milk? Really? Ouch!
Paper money!
the olson family should have their own reality show. on bravo 2
paint shouldve been #3!
how did no one say books? that was the first thing i thought of after cars
😂😂😂😂😂
Team Olson! 🙂👍
What about tennis balls?
Paint jobs and meals were my guesses. Seems I was wrong

I was gonna say puppy and book
As a pet owner, my first instinct after car was dog piles.
An oil painting
Steve: I don’t care what you put in your old-a-word mouth, it ain’t fittin' to smell new.
LOL 😄
Hate to be morbid, but corpse
I don’t want to imagine that smell. That troll is not bullying you for now but will strike again soon so watch out.
Name something you can tell is new by how it smells? A CAR!
Honestly? A book.
I said car, then bed linen/towels.
Shoes
Olson family is still our champ. Olsen family is coming back tomorrow for a chance at Marriott Bonvoy Vacation and $10,000.
They better not blow their next fast money. A 1-3 fast money record does not sit well with a lot of people.
Fresh sh!!!!!!!!T
Welp, Steve never smelled or tasted fresh milk!
Um, I'm the real Ian 😂

Money, paper, furniture... all possible answers, and yet they put down rose and milk. 🥴
