      @@BlackBirdieGolf Tell your wife that she's making a good decision it is a lot of work to have a boat but there's some awesome times to spend on the water hopefully you can experience it one day captain and the good thing is the boat prices will go down very soon so if you're waiting patiently you will get a great price on a boat captain hope the best👍🛥

      @@OutOnTheReef yeah. I love snorkeling and would like a boat to accommodate some scuba diving. I've been looking at the Yamaha 255 fsh. A lot of people say that's one of the most versatile boats to buy. They start at 79k but I'm in no rush to buy now. I have another 4.5 years for retirement. Plan on moving to the Sarasota area. 🤞🏾😉

    I noticed the same problem. When I fish off the bow, I always bilge out 20 gallons or so. That may not seem like much, but under certain conditions, it can have a huge effect.

    Looks like a good fix, i guess getting a longer drain tube and adding some sealant was not possible? Did yamaha ever fix it? Im guessing you have a 2016/17 year boat but you said all 190’s? Yikes - btw, why is there even a drain in your cargo areA?

      Currently I changed boats to a pilothouse but I'm not sure if the new Hall which is a little bit bigger it's the same but I'm afraid it might be the same just a different layout just keep an eye on it once a year to see if everything is in place back there that's my recommendation.

    Finally it warmed up today, i checked my sloppy job. Filled up the anchor locker with Water and was surprised problem solved. Thank you.
    But I plugged my deck 2 drains and too bad my console filled with water. The plastic pipe on my port side underneath the jump seat dont leak. On the starboard has a tiny leak. Any help?

      @OutOnTheReef  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      AZ Tx Transport did you check the clamps to see if they are secured?

    • @aztxtransport2776
      @aztxtransport2776 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Out On The Reef
      Yeah. The clamps are tight. Only leak I barely see is from starboard where the pipe meets fiberglass.
      Btw theres a drain in motor compartment. Shall I leave it open/ close???

    • @OutOnTheReef
      @OutOnTheReef  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      AZ Tx Transport yes Engine compartment drain needs to be open because that's where the water flows from the front of the boat drains all the way to your builge so that's the way the water's going to your builge I will leave it open and as far as that leak that's got to be probably where the boat shell of the fiberglass they didn't put any Marine clear silicone there or if they did it probably very silicone.
      Are you under the 1 year warranty?
