I love Mega Beedrill, it is a literal glass canon. Hits REALLY hard, but can also GET hit really hard. What happens with you depends purely on luck. A perfect example of high-risk, high reward Pokémon 💀

If I was there I would have ended with water shuriken.
I give every Pokemon I can a focus stash so that if an op sweep lands, my team is super tough to swallow instantly.
He probably was running protein Greninja instead of battle bond ash Greninja, usually protein Greninja don't run water shurkien.(atleast I don't see many of them do)

the drill run was risky when poison jab would have done the same damage
it wouldn't have done the same amount of damage, poison jab only does neutral damage to reshiram meanwhile drill run is super effective against reshiram

Mega Beedrill is one of those mons you don't really like cause like its a freaking beedrill but you do have to respect because adaptability on 150 attack 145 speed is broken
that's why beedrill is better than a machamp

I'm assuming cause it's faster than Greninja and Gyarados is a more natural spdf mon so +2 probably is enough the last one is probably knock for gohsts and flying steels

This is why you always have a priority attack in your team.
he even had the tools to stop this sweep in intimidate gyarados. could have just kept switching it in and sacing something he didnt need to bring it back in and proc intimidate again.
