I think that was a fan estimate using her small head and long legs. Platinum never confirmed her height in Real Life measurements. If she was really that tall, that means everyone in her universe are giants because she is similar heights with most of the supporting cast and NPCs.

2:42:43 this is actual a very fascinating thing to research for both games, the amount of work this team put into all of the animation to get not only the motion right for the poses, dances, attacks is just insane and you'll get a better sense for it in the first game needless to say the first game was more rudimentary Motion capture but even without a full modern mocap suit it is stellar and a treat to look at

I think playing on easy may have been causing some of your troubles. It equipped you with an item that causes you to automatically do combos. That might sound good, but in practice it means you have less control over what your character is doing and you end up flailing a lot more, while having a poorer understanding of what the controls are supposed to do.
Also, on the topic of songs to cover, have you heard Venus Line?

That silhouette you saw in the beginning is of Madama Butterfly. She's the demon Bayonetta made a pact with for her powers and is the lady demon you summoned to kill Valiance.
She's also the giant fists and heels you summon at the end of your combos and the butterfly wings when you glide and double jump 😊🦋

Fun fact, you do NOT need to play bayonetta 1 before bayonetta 2. The two can be done in either order and you get a unique story depending on which one you start as both feed into one another in a loop without getting spoilery but you already see it in the intro.
to bring more context to the story and have more fun to the series? yeah, its important BUT ! bayo 2 is really fun on its own, so it's a win/win either way.
