    Thank you for putting this out there. I personally found this quite helpful. Please allow me to throw this in, that, I take it that you selected 80 bpm because measures are usually 4 beats long. That understood, some may want or need to slow the bpm to 40 to truly get the feel of what playing 8th and 16th notes is all about, and slowing down may also prove helpful in understanding alternate time signatures like 3/4 time and others. Thank you for putting this out. It may seem simple to some, but as you pointed out, this timing business is foundational. Thank you.

      @theoneminutecomic I chose 80 bom just because in years of teaching, I've just observed most people can play at that pace right out of the gate. Not necessarily 1/8ths and 1/16ths, buy nevertheless it's a good starting place.
