Yes these people are ignorant about their behavior. In bengali there is a proverb " bansh boner sheyal raja".these people are exactly so. It means they think they are the king but do not realize that they stay in a bush of bamboos. These people develop this mentality from their childhood due to wrong parenting. They do not want to get defeated and will do whatever they can to win a battle irrespective of the fact how tiny it is.
Sir, my ex husband had this disorder. I am fortunate enough to come out of that relationship within a year otherwise his behavior was enough to ruin my self esteem and my confidence. It's very difficult to identify these people as they are so polite with the other people. It was even harder to make my parents understand that he is torturing me as he was extremely good with them. He filed mat suit and I without demanding anything gave full consent to that for which got divorced within 2 years. That rejection he could not digest. Now he has applied to high court that he does not want divorce. His appeal to the court is still an appeal and I am leading my own life.
I am editing this part as I want everyone to know what extent these type of people can go. My ex husband appealed to the Calcutta High court divisional bench so that the case reopens and during the tenure of case proceedings I will not be allowed to remarry. Thanks to the judges, they upheld the sessional court's dicission and anyhow realized that something very unusual has happened for which I am least bothered about my marraige. The divorce has been finalized by highcourt. These kind of people cannot withstand failure in life.

@@Palak1583 Thank you but at the same time I am sad. When I had to go to the court room I found there are so many cases like me. They are going through the same problem but in our country there is no law for all these. They put all these under mental torture group which is really hard to prove in court. To win the battle over narcissists one has to be a bazigarh. That day I will be happy when indian judiciary system will change according to the age

I feel that my younger colleagues make use of me, learn the tips n tricks of profession and after that they pull me down like I am non existent. I m going through a mental turmoil as I have never done anything wrong or bad to anyone. I just turn my eyes to krishna, do my chanting n read bhagwatam. But this is really affecting me.
