MH Indigo is a mix of PB15:3-Phthalo Blue, PV19-Quinacridone Violet, and PBk6-Lamp Black.

If I'm honest I wasn't expecting much from this new one. When I looked at the pigments in it I wasn't very excited by it. It's actually a much better colour than I expected. As you said, useful. Just goes to show you really never know until you try. Thanks as always. G

Great video! Could you show us the best way to do a color chart for our colors?

This indigo seems to unify its mixes towards a common, oceanic theme. It's a beautiful way to create harmony, mixing your whole palette with a single, unifying transparent color.

Videos such as this are so helpful if one is looking to expand a palette. Or, looking to experiment with a new "flavor" and reduce the chance of total disappointment in the investment. One of the tubes I found unappealing, but several I could envision an immediate application. Thanks!

When demonstrating transparent colours you should glaze with them.

How much different is it to Payne's Grey?.

Inigo is a good color to darken blues ...good for ocean painting...
    Never use black...
It's a mix of phalo blue, Ultramarine blue, and carbon black...
When mixed to achieve greens as demonstrating here, must look up the yellows pigments - look for color bias...
Ocean painters use Indigo to darken blues and greens ...never use black in painting water- and never use white ...white is only used as tones for final layers like for foam...and the accent highlights...
Also, Inigo is great color for nocturne landscapes, seascapes...
Storm clouds....and shadows under dark clouds...
