So sorry to hear about your father. I’m not religious at all but will say a little prayer for him today. I would be happy to donate to a go fund me if some finances are needed to help him in hospital. I’m sure some other subscribers could chip in as well. My heart goes out to you and your and family and wishing for a speedy recovery for your father. Now about the video. I must say this looked absolutely delicious! I do enjoy a nice curry and the flavours they produce. I haven’t tried Sri Lankan yet but there is a little Sri Lankan restaurant just near me in St kilda so I think I will have to try it for dinner this weekend haha. Paal appam is Milk hoppers. Mostly Tamils make it more than Sinhalese as I know. Well., aappa or appam came from Kerala anyway, so that’s south India. Just because it’s not familiar with SOME of the Sinhalese, and because it comes from the Tamil culture, why cannot it be Sri Lankan?.. Tamil community is as Sri Lankan as Sinhalese.

I am Sinhalese and my grandma makes milk hoppers! If I want to learn one recipe from her that would be it. More Sinhalese people need to know about it!! Its so much more yummier than the plain appa because the middle isn't dry like in the normal ones.
