To be honest, you could do a lore segment just on the strange glitches where you phase in and out of reality, teleporting thru time and space, seemingly from "lag." :)

Yeah I mentioned that on a livestream. That the lag happens because your computer and the internet server are not in sync. If the server sees you fall while your computer sees you land your jump, eventually the server will take over and will teleport you to what it sees.
This can be looked at as two dimensions

I think another part of lore could be the the yellow post just randomly put there. If you don’t know what I’m talking about when you fall you might see it

I have seen the yellow post and always assumed Josh just put it there as a reference for building the map. But you could be onto something. Similar to the thumbnail here, it could easily be a grave.

Wait, I have another theory.
If you notice in summit 1, it’s harder to fall in one go hitting no props, there are lots of props that stop you from falling all the way down like the red and blue banners, I think it’s an illusion to hide what’s really below, going with the firewall theory.
The gims didn’t take their medicine and as they went up and up, there were less props to not fall in one go and they found out the truth…

If you fall at the second white chair in the third stage of don't look down at the bottem is a yellow barrier it is real
