Always wanted to go out to visit but it was always cancelled last minute. Shame on you Harold Wilson for trying to close them all down. But then that added a certain spice to Caroline after Johnny Walker announced "Caroline continues !"
I still have my Radio Caroline membership card N0. 49. and handbook all about Radio Caroline sent to me through the post 1964/5, I wonder how much they are worth.
Would love to be a DJ on Radio Caroline - broadcasting on the same station that the likes of Tony Blackburn and Johnnie Walker used to broadcast on! One good way to get Johnnie Walker back on Radio Caroline - bring a bottle of Johnnie Walker’s whisky with me! Whether I will drink it is another matter!
Peter Altman Hi. It involved climbing up off the tender and to step up onto the ship. I think it was fairly straight forward, I don’t think it involved a ladder. You would need to be sturdy and confident I think.
Some vivid inspiring and incredible shots of the radio ship, the red lady,Ross Revenge thank you for this video footage.
I went on a boat trip from Walton on the Naze in 1966, hope the new Caroline AM can be heard in Herts when you get it on air.
You have inspired me to go there myself. Thank you!
great film really interesting and well edited

😎...les images c'est bien....Mais le fond musical ne correspond pas à la station.. Question : POURQUOI..?..🇨🇵...🐧🐧🐧
What's the actual boarding of the ship like and the going off again? OK for pensioners? Thanks. Peter

Many thanks for the helpful comments. Much appreciated.
i would think with todays health & saftey you would have to wear a life preserver on the transfer from shore to ship?
