God this is seriously one of my all time favorite songs. I have cried to this song, smiled with this song, drove on the highway with the windows down and the volume cranked. I’ve danced to this song around the house to this song. And it never once has gotten old...
I love this song and this comment. I feel exactly the same. It's amazing to me how young conan looks but more amazing to me how the guy harmonizing does what hes doing. And yes this song never gets old I heard it in hannafords and jammed out hardcore while shopping.
I remember the first time I heard this song at age 11 in 1997. Who can say a song they loved at 11 years old is something they still listen to. I love this band.
Yes, because everything was real, no deep fakes, no crypto, no auto tune, bloody brilliant. Was at a bar just a few hours ago and a couple blokes were playing a cover set opened with this, instantly elevated me to cruising altitude.
Just saw these guys live August 25 2021 in Pacific Amphiteatre in Costa Mesa, CA. Brilliant performance. Bringing blue grass soul & country roots from Florida. Timeless song.
That drum lick, in my mind, is legendary. Simple, yet impactful without having to go overboard. I am a clunky drummer myself, but goddam that one is so perfect.
Saw them at the House of Blues at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas from a private balcony box with a few Playboy models and my buddy Johnathan Williams after The Pat McGee Band opened up the show. Great memory
Still around and touring! Going see them next month right here in my home town. They also came here a few years back, got to meet them and get autographs and all
@@jenniferhecatefaith8933 I’m gonna have to take your word on that. I’ve heard Fountains of Wayne but I’ve never heard Bowling for Soup, knowingly anyway.
@@jeffkahl Basically bowling for soup covering them I think just as a one off or perhaps someone just got them confused and requested it and they went along with it. Can't remember exactly how it came about but the way jaret Reddick told the story made me laugh. BFS got me through some tough teen years and even in my 30s now I can listen without skipping one single track.
@@jeffkahl found him mentioning it here. If you get the chance check them out, they're hilarious and in person a pleasure to see and listen to the stories they have to share. th-cam.com/video/kx53wxz-YwI/w-d-xo.html

it's a band whose have just one song known, but this is a masterpiece!

One of best harmony vocals in a song EVER
There was something so damn different about "90's" harmonies and it's truly beautiful! True art!
The object of my affection.
Alice in Chains had the best harmonies.

90s harmonies are second only to 60s harmonies. The Beach Boys, Beatles, Byrds, Simon and Garfunkel, etc. are hard ones to top.
Perfect example of true music without autotune and cpu's. Great song SH!
This song is 100% certified timeless his voice and the melody just so incredible
These guys look so genuinely happy that they're playing on Conan, that a good song they wrote is a hit, and that so many people are cheering for them.
The acapella at the end is my favorite part. Ken and Drew's voices mesh perfectly with each other. Great band!!

One of my favorite songs of all time. I love his unique voice - some rasp and some twang thrown in.
Que gran locura escucharlos y que suenen igual a la version de estudio … 🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽🤯 que gran obra de arte
El inicio es ESPECTACULAR!
Insanely talented. You can hear it immediately

This song needed to touch my heart.
Not alone there
One of the best ever songs on my list
One of the best live bands I have ever seen!
Wow! Killer start!
Heard this classic at a casino back in 2020 before the pandemic hit, and I loved it ever since
Fuck I miss the 90's
I love this song! 😁
Love the voice. Wow.
Proud to hear that ... so great American accent... lovely
They harmonize phenomenally 🎆
I kinda always thought they were Canadian! They have our vibe and groove 🇨🇦
Thanks for posting this gem!
What a great song!!
Great song!
just goes to show how old the conan show is, but great performance by SH
Conan was so young omg
Yup and a geek then too
Saw them at the House of Blues at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas from a private balcony box with a few Playboy models and my buddy Johnathan Williams after The Pat McGee Band opened up the show. Great memory
I actually like this live version a little bit better than the album one.
When I was a kid I thought this was Blues Traveler 😂
I think we all did! 😆🎤🎶🎸
So pretty
Great song all around. I'm just really into songs where the audience gets into singing the chorus like second nature.
We need more bands like than... not now a days garbage... today 2021 just garbage
Mike Rynard is my husband's best friend! How wild for this to pop up on TH-cam!
Omg Conan looks so young
Niceeee
They need to put this version on Apple Music
I can't believe how good this is... Wtf happened to this band? Are they still around? This song is so solid.
Still around and touring! Going see them next month right here in my home town. They also came here a few years back, got to meet them and get autographs and all
Really humble folks I may add.
I was 11 when this song came out and I thought it was by REM. The vocals sounded Stipe-Buck-Mills-ish to my then-kiddie ears.
A century ago
at last, a band without auto-tune!
This song is money, real deal stuff, ages well.
What’s this song about I’d love to know
Need to turn on the auto tracking 😂
Why did I think this was performed by Hootie and the Blowfish when I was a kid
I think I had that same necklace in the mid nineties lol
Hey it’s that Blues Traveler song! Lol
Lol no pretty sure Ken and the sister hazel band wrote this one.
like that Stacey's mom song by bowling for soup 🤣🤣🤣

i really don't understand the acapella intro. It really does not work.
Definitely Better than Ezra
Haha😂
