Hi, during the exam, you should follow the order of the question. And most of the time you will not be asked all of them in the exam, probably just one or two.
At 1:56 would you always add 2cm3 of the solution to test non-reducing sugar to 1cm3 of hydrochloric acid or is that just for sucrose solution And to what temperature boil the HCl and solution for
Hi, these are some of my videos about enzyme: th-cam.com/video/1LfUdUAa7Rc/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/55jkGNPCx5o/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/o89_G0Le1-w/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/LbnGUNbC9PA/w-d-xo.html
because it doesn't give you the result in a numerical form (i.e. it doesn't tell you exactly how much of a substance is found in a sample, unlike a biosensor). You are comparing the colour and estimate the amount, so it is not that accurate.
Sir I have seen many videos on plan diagrams where people ignore little 'bumps' in the cell wall etc.Is it okay to ignore them?. I'm good in the theoretical section but not that good in the practical haha. Tommorow is our practical paper 33 exam.
u mean epidermis (the outermost later of stem, leave, root ) ??? cell wall is a ultrastucture so it will not be present in a plan diagram. If your mean epidermis, those rough surfaces are not necessary in a plan diagram. But not wrong if u draw them.
For the semi-qualitative Benedict's test, is it necessary to stop the stop watch as soon as it turns green or we can calculate till it turns red? Please reply as I got biology p3 in a few hours
For practical, the answering technique is more important than the knowledge. Pay attention to the Hows. (How to draw a table, how to plot a graph, how to draw scientific diagrams etc)
These videos are the one thing saving me in my AS Biology practicals tomorrow
THanks, glad to hear that.
Same. I have cie practical tomorrow. Good luck

Thank you !
Why semi-quantitative test cannot provide an accurate measurement of the amount of substance?
because it doesn't give you the result in a numerical form (i.e. it doesn't tell you exactly how much of a substance is found in a sample, unlike a biosensor). You are comparing the colour and estimate the amount, so it is not that accurate.
Thank you
You are welcome!
you are the best ❤❤❤❤
HAHA thanks
can we draw air spaces in plan diagram?
yes
NO
Can you use NaOH instead of KOH.Btw the videos were really helpful :).
Yes NaOH works as well.
THank u !!

As soon as it turns green. But if you wait till it turns red it is ok too. Just standardised your method.
lifesaver fr
You are welcome 😁
Thank you so muchhhhhh
you are welcome !
Awesome Video David!!!!
Hi thanks !

thanks !
i did my level best in previous Exams, But my grade in practical was so poor.
