For the donda reaction: React to the Donda album ( not Donda Deluxe ) Skip the last 4 song as they are remixes ( the ones that have part 2 ) Listen to Life of the party as the last song which is on the deluxe
I think he should might as well do the deluxe, Keep My Spirit Alive pt 2 imo is much better, and some of the songs added I think add to the album context, Life of the Party, Never Abandon Your Family, and Up From the Ashes. Both versions are bloated and have a lot of half baked filler songs, but at least the deluxe adds worthwhile additions.
@@alqxikyea he has tons more better music than this album ofc, but there's still some amazing music on here. (Wouldve been happier if it was yhandi that dropped but gotta live with what you can get lol)
Bob should be sure to listen to the original track listing for Donda. I know he’s a big song order guy and Come to Life absolutely should be at the end of that track list.
I think Bob, if you followed Kanye a bit through the Jesus Is King Era, you would see just how happy and focused he was. Ye album felt like a mental breakdown, but JIK and Donda felt like he found the light he asked God for on Cudi's Montage. It felt like he hit peak character growth and then when things didn't all go his way, he abandoned it for the Vultures lifestyle, which is completely opposite of his previous development sadly.
It honestly is so sad. Like you said during JIK and Donda he actually looked the happiest he’s looked since the very beginning of his career. The divorce and everything else truly just put him in the worse spot. It’s so sad to see how he’s ended up. I truly hope he can find his way back.
Kanye’s career and transformation would be so fascinating if he retired after Donda. The college trilogy, 808s after losing his mom, the hiatus, his bounce back and takeover with MBDTF, Yeezy season approaching with Yeezus, Life of Pablo, then his mental breakdown on Ye, his conversion to faith with this album and finally a tribute to his mother. I’m still holding out hope that he will find the light again, but vultures is terrible.
@@mikedocemrick9497don't you think that further developmenta post-Donda made it even more interesting? The complete breakdown after the divorce lashing out and a 180 from Christian beliefs into indulging his vices, I think is incredibly poetic and cinematic. I would highly recommend to react some of the Yandhi song like : Slave Name, Alien, New Body and Chakras.
Hello Bob, I found you last week and I love your thoughts in these texts. I really appreciate, that you can show us your pain and how you are feeling. I understand it and cried too. I’m sorry for your loss but thank for person like you. You are amazing man. Sending much love to you and your family.
Thought I’d never see the day. Take care bob Edit: love how real you can be bob. Never be ashamed to show emotion bc you’re also helping a lot of other people maybe going thru something similar. I’m on the verge of tears😭 lol
I was also Christian, well grew up Christian, and went to a Catholic school so all my beliefs about who God is was shaped by other people. I turned away from Him and got on the new spirituality wave kind of like what you talk about where we are all one entity experience life and none of us are separated. This was my truth for so long and I didn’t think it would change until recently actually. September last year I hit depression which I never felt before and I was in a situation I felt like I could not escape. Literally cried every single day and could not stop the tears. The only thing I could think of doing was praying even though at that point it has been 2-3 years since I last prayed. I realized I could not do it by myself and the more I tried the worse it got. From that point on, I’ve been growing in my relationship with God and not putting so much pressure on myself to be perfect. I felt like I was trying much harder to be perfect without Him than I am now with Him. And I was able to find my very own personal relationship with Him. I wouldn’t say I’m Christian but I do believe in Jesus Christ and I read the Bible but I don’t follow the Christian religion. Relationship > Religion. P.S. God does not fault those who do not know Him or have not been given a real chance to know Him to perish. That’s like a teacher giving a test to students and expecting them to pass when they were never taught the material. God knows our hearts so maybe some terrible people on Earth go to Heaven but only those who truly were sorry. Which is also why some ‘nice’ people on Earth won’t make it to Heaven. God knows our hearts and intentions. That was a lot but I wanted to share 🤍 And thank you for sharing!
For context, No Malice is Pusha T's brother who became a devout Christian and stopped rapping with Pusha in Clipse. So his verse plays off Pusha's first verse.

one very cool thing about the album: last thing he says on the last released kanye song before JIK (cudi montage on KIDS SEE GHOSTS) is "come shine your light on me save me please (please lord)"
you are a great person Bob, yesterday I went back to watch the discussion video that you dropped on The Life of Pablo back in June of ‘22, where you had a section of ‘Kanye and Peace’, I had to watch that part again because of what’s going on right now, everything said on that is so true and I’ve always felt that about him.
As a Christian, I loved hearing your experiences and changes in belief. You’ve always seemed like such a real and truthfully caring individual, and I’m glad you’ve found peace in a world where so many haven’t.
As a Christian you should wish for him to live forever which means he needs to have faith in Christ. Much more important than finding peace in this world.
You’re the best Bob. Watching your reactions is like sitting with a friend who is as passionate for music as myself, which is something I don’t have in real life. You really feel music the way is supposed to. As a Kanye fan I’m so happy you are back to listening to him and that his struggle with faith and life resonates on you as it did. Keep doing what you do, keep being you. Big hug from Spain.
There is a Jesus is King 2 album produced entirely by Dr Dre that leaked, you dont have to listen to it but there are some extras and cool features in there that you would enjoy and think why wasnt this in the final version, including people like Travis Scott and Eminem
As an atheist I can confirm a lot of us can be assholes. Just like any group of people. Atheism is NOT the belief that no gods exists (because that's a claim that carries a burden of proof). The Atheist position is simply unconvinced a god exists or lack of belief due to insufficient evidence. It was fascinating to hear your journey and thank you for sharing it with us, telling the internet about something like that takes a great amount of courage.
In the song “Hands On” when Kanye says “What have you been hearing from the Christians? They’d be the first one to judge me” I believe the people judging him are the same people asking him about what the Christians are telling him and not so much the Christians judging him
Bob, I’m sure I can speak for a lot of your audience when I say - We appreciate how open, honest and vulnerable you are. Your courage to share your stories and imbue your experiences into your discussions surrounding albums is part of the reason I’ve fallen in love with your channel. THIS is the album Kanye needs to listen back to with everything happening right now and his new addiction to nitrous we just learned about yesterday,Kanye needs help and I think even though everything he said about holocaust and stuff is unforgivable, everyone that knows the personnality of the guy knows he isn't actually like that,he was never raised like this and is just sick,it breaks my heart to see every single shit he says and him being addicted,it's a never ending spiral because he is actually bipolar but takes meds so it makes his bipolarity pretty much unexistant but makes him say so much shit,it actually must be awful to be in this guy's mind #HelpKanye
True in what sense tho, is he still addicted? Did his addiction actually cause braindamage? Supposedly he has been off the NOS for a while(I hope) Gen alpha lowkey dumb af
This has been one of my favorite reactions of yours. As someone who has completely sworn off of Kanye it was nice to hear his voice again and in seemingly a better place in life. Thank you Bob.
I think most atheists fall under that umbrella of "I just don't think about it" and sort of fall into that category by technicality, whereas someone who goes out of their way to call themselves atheist is more likely to feel more strongly about it. This results in selection bias where the abrasive atheists represent the entire group. It's interesting hearing an American's perspective of this (where theists far outnumber atheists), since in New Zealand atheists outnumber Christians (48.6% atheist). That sorta means half the people you meet just don't think about it in their day to day, and that religion isn't really a big factor in our society. Great vid as always Bob, keep being real ❤
One of my fondest memories is the morning I listened to this album the day it released and I'm not even Christian, it was just so peaceful and positive. I lied down on the grass of my college basking in the sunlight after finishing my last final exam. It was such an uplifting, ethereal experience. May have been the most free I've ever felt since I was a child - fingers crossed I reach that feeling again someday soon once I jump the hurdles in front of me right now.

@@2roccoyeah that track and Alien get me floating
Hello Bob, I found you last week and I love your thoughts in these texts. I really appreciate, that you can show us your pain and how you are feeling. I understand it and cried too. I’m sorry for your loss but thank for person like you. You are amazing man. Sending much love to you and your family.
Thought I’d never see the day. Take care bob
Edit: love how real you can be bob. Never be ashamed to show emotion bc you’re also helping a lot of other people maybe going thru something similar. I’m on the verge of tears😭 lol
4:23 I LOVE THIS ENERGY OF FREE SPEECH
So his verse plays off Pusha's first verse.
can't wait for the donda, its in my opinion, the better version of JIK. Come to life is my favorite ye track
Come to life is untouched in Kanye’s disco it’s beyond perfect
Agreed but i wish it wasn't so long and bloated.
Oh man bob is gonna love come to life
24 too
@@gotworci went back and listened to it and it’s not as bloated as people think it is. There’s definitely some tracks but most of the songs are beautiful
I think his tears in this video are saying Jesus wants him back, and I think deep down he feels that too.
Bob you’re a special human being man. Great vid as always
love this reaction and the honesty, thank you for doing this
BOB THE GOAT 🐐 for real though, I’ve been watching Bob since he started and I’m always excited for a new video. Best music reaction channel on TH-cam 🐐
Bob's openness and transparency is admirable
Oh btw Bob others have recommended but definitely listen to Donda the normal version not the deluxe for the better tracklist. The deluxe has a very weird tracklist that I’m not sure was even intentional. But definitely pull the new songs from the deluxe to listen to as well. Life Of The Party is one of Ye’s best tracks and that’s on the deluxe
thank you for sharing that story at the beginning . love you bob
that kanye update hurt my soul because i knew youd never hear donda. which is SOOOO worth an in depth listen. its the last great kanye album and a great button on his legacy. well just act like vultures isnt a thing 👌🏾
Vultures trilogy is 2/2 and 3 will be legendary
@@MKultraInstinct nah it's kinda mid compare to other Kanye materials
@@MKultraInstinct at least he'll get to listen to the finished version of vultures 2 lmfao. most reactors who watched it on day one won't care about all the updates which turned the songs great
@MKultraInstinct we not even gon talk about vultures 2. but ill say vultures 1 had some great moments. but its a farcry from the rest of his discography. also the subject matter being just as problematic as his antics outside music doesnt help it go down smoothly. if bob does choose to continue with kanye after donda, hes gonna be very turned off by lyrics because hes already expressed that thinking about kanye saying those types of things is what made him stop listening.
@@MKultraInstinctvultures 1 is actually a groundbreaking album minus the mix/master.
i always appreciate you being vulnerable & open with us, Bob. Great video per usual. much love to you & the family
Donda is my favourite Kanye Album. A lot of the songs on their seemed to be like songs from here but much more refined and polished
one very cool thing about the album: last thing he says on the last released kanye song before JIK (cudi montage on KIDS SEE GHOSTS) is "come shine your light on me save me please (please lord)"
Raised Lutheran and now agnostic (leaning towards Taoism) so I appreciate you being open about your journey with faith!
you are a great person Bob, yesterday I went back to watch the discussion video that you dropped on The Life of Pablo back in June of ‘22, where you had a section of ‘Kanye and Peace’, I had to watch that part again because of what’s going on right now, everything said on that is so true and I’ve always felt that about him.
Much more important than finding peace in this world.
one of the greatest music review/reaction channels. love it man. you are so real.
LETS GOOOO KANYE IS BACK
appreciate your honesty and vulnerability bro, God loves you man! love wathcing your reactions bro!
You loving saint pablo made my day 🫡
The beeps in “Use This Gospel” always reminded me of a car beeping when your seat belt is off. Kinda ties into Kanye’s car crash, being saved, etc
Ty for being so open :)
Ty dolla sign reference?????
@@louiepearson7410bruh 💀😭
Unc came thru with another banger 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I loved the long intro bob
You’re the best Bob. Watching your reactions is like sitting with a friend who is as passionate for music as myself, which is something I don’t have in real life. You really feel music the way is supposed to. As a Kanye fan I’m so happy you are back to listening to him and that his struggle with faith and life resonates on you as it did. Keep doing what you do, keep being you. Big hug from Spain.
Perfect example of "Time heals all wounds". Usually the case with all conflicts ♥
Never usually comment but love your reactions bro there always very sincere and i appreciate how open minded you are when it comes to music 🤝🫶🏽
WE ARE SO BACK
Bob, you are an incredibly respectable person. Great mindset on you good sir.
There is a Jesus is King 2 album produced entirely by Dr Dre that leaked, you dont have to listen to it but there are some extras and cool features in there that you would enjoy and think why wasnt this in the final version, including people like Travis Scott and Eminem
Thanks for sharing your experience. I went through a similar journey
The on god beat is so crazy
I have so much respect for you Bob, you are such an awesome, loving guy. I wish you all the happiness in your life
As an atheist I can confirm a lot of us can be assholes.
Bob it’s great to see you open up. This album is fantastic and very underrated. I throw it on all the time on Sunny days driving around
Never thought I’d see the day 🥲
words cant explain how happy i got seeing kanye in a title
In the song “Hands On” when Kanye says “What have you been hearing from the Christians? They’d be the first one to judge me” I believe the people judging him are the same people asking him about what the Christians are telling him and not so much the Christians judging him
Bob, I’m sure I can speak for a lot of your audience when I say - We appreciate how open, honest and vulnerable you are. Your courage to share your stories and imbue your experiences into your discussions surrounding albums is part of the reason I’ve fallen in love with your channel. I’ve never been a fan of this album but I hope this album provided some comfort or clarity to you. All respect to your Grandfather, he sounds like he made a huge impact on your life. Thanks for the vid Bob
Was great to get an insight into your belief system, really resonated! And In a Kanye react video - what a combination
Nitrous oxide thing is true. You can tell ye is super unwell and depressed. Hope he gets better.
True in what sense tho, is he still addicted? Did his addiction actually cause braindamage? Supposedly he has been off the NOS for a while(I hope)
Gen alpha lowkey dumb af
@@indoorplant2392 na bro I’m 15, not gen alpha. Yeah I probably should have not jumped to conclusions like that
This has been one of my favorite reactions of yours. As someone who has completely sworn off of Kanye it was nice to hear his voice again and in seemingly a better place in life. Thank you Bob.
Always felt this was an S tier Kanye album. Criminally underrated and essential to his journey.
You’re such a genuine dude. Loved this reaction.
music is emotion
28:10 can definitely agree, Kanye’s music was a big part of my development and got me through first couple years of high school
Great vid as always Bob, keep being real ❤
bob you are such a real one. as someone who's also deconstructed from Christianity your explanation hit home.
kanye my goat
One of my fondest memories is the morning I listened to this album the day it released and I'm not even Christian, it was just so peaceful and positive. I lied down on the grass of my college basking in the sunlight after finishing my last final exam. It was such an uplifting, ethereal experience. May have been the most free I've ever felt since I was a child - fingers crossed I reach that feeling again someday soon once I jump the hurdles in front of me right now.
wow. tbh jesus is king being the one u do to return with is fitting. even though the album had poor reception, it was a very critical emotional point in his journey and i think its very interesting he went full christian. if u liked this (i havent watched this yet it just came out) go to donda for a spiritual album that is actually of somewhat alright quality. have a good one bob
edit: i really appreciate your religious telling bob, very touching to me to know people have struggled through similar stuff to what im going through spiritually. I'm very glad you uploaded this man
Donda is great and JIK is alright quality
Bob I had the same experience at the start of this year around January 1st and came to the same realization and I’m only 17 and it was amazing to have that experience, pure bliss
