    See the thing is powders don’t actually blur they just change the texture and perspective of light on the skin and even add coverage

    • @sandram.d.6164
      @sandram.d.6164 ปีที่แล้ว +34

      Also, all powders do that. All of them.

    • @arandootsarandano
      @arandootsarandano ปีที่แล้ว +48

      Yes, they just matify and that’s why they look blurring, you can’t really see the pores anymore because the light can’t reflect

      And it's aggressively noticeable irl. Deadass the reason why I've been opting for dewy makeup, healthy looking moisturized skin looks way better in real life than matte skin

      @ghoultooth ปีที่แล้ว +41

      @@elielis6 I have combination skin, but mostly very oily and the only way I can wear makeup is with very mattifying powders. My oils kind of get absorbed and then the powder looks very skinlike.

      Powder changing the texture and perspective of light on the skin is pretty much the definition of what it means to “blur” isn’t it? You place the powder and then they’re not as visible when applied properly.

    Thank you for mentioning pat mcgrath!!! That powder is the best pressed powder I’ve ever used to blur. One of the very few products that I’ve gone through 3 of them.

      How does it do for oil? I like the idea of blurring, but I’m more concerned with staying matte, I have very oily skin. It looked kinda shiny when she swatched it and that concerns me. What are your thoughts?

    I have been using Maybelline for over 5 years now. I have been using Laura Mercier before. Since LM is not available where i live, i switched to Maybelline as it's one of the new and hyped product at that time but i don't really like it. Don't get me wrong but it just sits so cakey no matter what i do. It's heavy, and if you have dehydrated skin, god can only save you lol. I am looking for a better product

    I also recommend the Givenchy Prisme setting powder. I need to buy my second. So rare for me to have an empty that I want to repurchase.
    Sometimes I just use concealer under my eyes and apply the powder. I also got the pressed powder overseas since they do not sell them in the U.S. I have been wanting to try Pat McGrath's powder for a while. I don't think Morgan likes it but I think that Fenty also gives a very airbrushed look for oily skin.

    Ou this powder is 😍but there’s one problem it won’t solve … the problem of sin that separates us from having a relationship with God. In fact like makeup that covers, religion also is very surface level and doesn’t deal with sin. But i want to share the gospel which shows us how we can have a true relationship with God, what God acc did to remove the separation between God and us caused by sin. The gospel starts by showing us how we were all born sinners hence you’ve lied before or dishonoured your parents etc because that nature is within you ... we’ve all fallen short of God’s perfect standard & God is Holy, Him and sin do not mix ! So much so that the result of sin is actually death (Hell), which is complete separation from God and we all deserve Hell (we have all been born with a sinner nature and fallen short of Gods standard) BUT God wants to have a relationship with us so how can this be ? Well because of Gods love for us Jesus Christ, God himself, came on earth in the flesh and lived a perfect life, never sinning. Then he went on the cross to die for our sins..why ? Because sin costs ! And the price of sin is death so when he died he was taking the punishment we deserve for sin I.e death … Hell and then he rose on the third day and now he can offer us salvation as a FREE gift….I.e we can actually have a relationship with God, actually have true life in Christ which is the only thing that will fill humanity’s void. However as this is a gift, it can only be your reality when you ACCEPT His gift of salvation by repenting (turn away from sin), turn to God declaring Jesus as your Savior + Lord (the authority over your life now) and believe God raised Him from the dead….then you’ll be saved, this is when you become a child of God ! But if you reject Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, then there is no other name that you can be saved by ! Jesus said He is the way, truth and the LIFE - and nobodyyy comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6 - Jesus’ words) - “good” works can’t save you, good intentions can’t save you, only Jesus Christ can, and a sinner needs saving (everyone was born a sinner) so don’t reject Jesus + He’s coming back soon for His children (those who accepted the gift of salvation) that are ready so take Him at His Word, repent + accept Him and Lord and Saviour - if you would like to (or anyone reading this) message meee x
