Super lame you did 3 carts that are practically all next to each other. Furthermore, you made choices that are not unique. ZERO cred and ZERO effort. If you spread out your choices in Manhattan (Midtown, Downtown, etc) it would be more legit. This is a huge miss.
Watching you fools order Tikka Masala from the Bangladeshi cart was confusing. Watching you squirt 130K Scoville red sauce on your Halal Guys like it was ketchup made it clear. You don’t know shit about NY street food and a random tourist would be a better guide. But yeah he did a great job with the video.
This is a really good insightful video of all the best Carts ! And having lived here for more than 15 years and having been to all these carts, some of them at least a dozen times, I agree with your list. Adel’s Halal Cart has been kicking some butt and blows halal guys out of contention these days. The one place you may have missed out on is the south Asian halal cart in midtown - biriyani cart. I hope you guys can do a follow up video and cover some of these other carts that you may have missed ! Thank you 😊
I'm so mad that I never went to queens when I was in nyc. I tried searching for halal food everywhere and had to eat halal cart during my time there lol.
Dude so cool I love halal food!! Omg the chicken masala..lamb with rice..white sauce!!! So addicting! The street vendors are the best! All restaurant quality food!! Love food and Footprints!
Love this Halal food tour. Personally I recommend in Flushing, Queens the Madina Halal Cart located in the parking lot of Stop and Shop by the Whitestone Lanes bowling alley and the Halal Cart right across the street from Skyview Mall in downtown Flushing. If you ever come around, try it and enjoy it as I'm sure you will. Cheers! Let me know if you need directions
Since moving to the Northeast (Connecticut) in 2017, I've been to the city about half a dozen times, but I've never tried a food cart except to get roasted almonds in Central Park. I'm definitely trying a food cart next time I go!
Its so cool to see you which Greg and Julie from Food and Footprints....yall did this tour really cool... ya every plate all got it a lot for one person and so... its cool that yall shared a meal as you did this tour.... 8)
I come from muslim majority country in south east asia that has different food from middle eastern and south asian food. We do use similar spices like turmeric, chillis, galangal, cardamom, etc, and some of our food r influenced by middle eastern culinary, but we indonesians also eat a lot of veggies (both raw and cooked) and soy based food. Hopefully one day our food will be as famous as middle eastern and south asian food as halal food.
There's an Indonesian community in Queens if I'm not wrong, they sell Indonesia halal food too. And by Indonesia means they are super delicious and very affordable.
You need to come to the UK and do a video from the perspective of an American. We have Halal foods galore from street food to premium restaurants. London, Birmingham, Leicester, Manchester and Bradford are the best cities for Halal foods in the UK.
When you realize you have been to everyone of these... KoF is my favorite, nicest dudes ever. Gotta rep Astoria love. Sammy's was my 7 Train pitstop joint when I used to live in JH. HGs is okay when you're with tourist friends in midtown. Kwik has the best lamb hands down. Great video guys!
Great vid! I pass by Sammy's all the time (I live in Elmhurst), never tried it though, might try it tonight. My favorite spot is the golden/orange cart outside of Elmhurst Hospital.
Hi guys I’m in the Wales part of the UK and I think all that food was superb, all we have is fish and boring chips costing in dollars $11 if I lived there I would be triple x and having fun food everyday..love the video superb food and fun people .....cheers Tony
Adel's Famous Halal cart on 6th Ave and 50th Street is the best in NYC. Their business hours are from 6:00pm to 4:00am. Their Chicken over rice is top notch. There's always a long line and the wait is well worth it. I'm sorry but Sammy's and The Halal Guys ain't got nothing on Adel's and that's the Double truth, Ruth. ; ;
Indian subcontinent food best in the world. It beats all the cuisines in the world. It is the most difficult to make, it requires more recipes and ingredients than any other foreign food. All the credit goes to it's Muslims cooks
Shout out to all the immigrant restaurants that giving you your moneys worth or sometimes more than ur money’s worth! $6 for all that! Word two people can eat that Ma sha Allah
Are all the halal food carts in NYC only serve middle eastern type of food? What about other regions halal food? Like South East Asia, Chinese or even American European halal food?
Halal guys are great their sauce was the bomb until they switched to the packets now other places in the city are better just had it like 1 month ago and it was nothing like back in 2019 and prior
I live in Jackson Heights for over 40 years and Sammy's is ok nothing spectacular about it. I have a halah truck located in midtown few blocks away from hala guys ( which i think is not good at all). I been going to this truck for over 14 years. Anyone that i take hands down best they ever had. I wish I could take you guys so you could find out for yourself.

Best cheap halal food spot is $5 right by hotel pen. Even for a mix of chicken and lamb it’s still $5. Can’t beat $5 in midtown, plus it taste good.
Are they still there at that price lol
"Plus, it tastes good"? Youd pay for something that DOESNT taste good?

Hi!

You're a very helpful web video; couldn't make it without ya!
Thoinks pal!
Halal Guys is overrated & tasteless. I'm a born & raised New Yorker & have eaten in every cart imaginable. Avoid this tourist trap.
There used to be a cart during the pre-Sandy days by South Ferry. Chicken & Lamb over rice with pita for $5 flat. Good, too.
Love the choice of music!
Thanks habibi!
Sammys with the green sauce is the goat, they used to have a green sauce cart on northern and bell but now it's not a diff truck no green sauce
Great video
We need more food videos like this and 1 star reviews

one of the best street food i have tried in nyc is Adel’s Famous halal ✨👍🏼✨🇵🇭
