reading the comments below about hellovenus being underrated makes me think twice on losing interest towards a group once they're in hiatus or having a problem with their agency.
i honestly am so proud of them for being strong and working so hard to gain attention again to the public, and fantagio's amazing effort to bring hellovenus back to life again even though, mainly, their agency were not formed to debut kpop groups, but actors/actresses.
they obviously had two options : either to disband, or to totally change their image. they could've just chose to disband and to live on their own ways rather than to give themselves another chance, doing a comeback with their new sexy concept.
i have been a hellocupid ever since their debut with venus and my love for them had NEVER decreased even though they were on a hiatus for quite a long time, leaving most of the fans hanging. and i think most of the netizens didn't like the sexy concept because it was new for them, i mean, hellovenus were such a cute girlgroup with also their cute songs. but once they have showed their skin, all they get is hate, when the only thing that they were trying to do is to gain love and support from EVERYONE that heard about their comeback.
come on guys, be open-minded. don't judge something just because it doesn't seem interesting to you on the first time you watch it. give yourself another try, don't just throw things away to the rubbish bin once they look ugly and dissatisfying on your eyes. you think being an idol is not hard? especially after going under such difficult times like them? you think it's easy? hell, no. try to position yourself in theirs, try to look at things through their eyes. try to understand. don't judge things, that doesn't help anything AT ALL.

Roseoilblue Hello Venus and Stellar are in the same boat. They are both great groups but aren't very well like in Korea. Too bad so many people are swayed by group think. I look at female groups by their music and then their "concepts." It's very hard for any fringe/newbies to make it in Korea....it's not like in the West where an unknown can make it overnight.
They were not that kinda underrated when they were still doing cute concepts and when Ara is still in the group..and unfortunately Ara is not already in the group in which i think jas the most fans out of them...they dropped a lot. Then became underrated :(

Initially the original Hello Venus members were managed by two different companies. One of the companies wanted out of the arrangement so their members left the group. The members had no choice but to leave.
Then their popularity dropped due to bland songs and a bland concept. It was either disband this group or totally change the concept. With Brave Brothers behind them they transformed into a better group....but unfortunately many Koreans did not like their new sexy concept.

The crazy recommendations of TH-cam have led me to watch again this wonderful MV that has been the culprit of my falling in love with the world of Kpop. It's been 6 years now and it fills me with nostalgia to see this masterpiece again and the sad fact that many groups of this time, who made fantastic music no longer exist, but luckily these jewels remained to remember how the industry has evolved and has had very bright moments in the past as well. She's legit the full package. I like the entire group though, Alice is fierce and a great singer, Yeoreum is cute, pretty and is improving loads, Nara and Yooyoung are great dancers and are stunningly gorgeous and I even like new bagel girl and ambulance siren Seoyoung.
