    Thank you for this, glad to know the distinction. Probably just my ego but I don't know why I would buy Genesis after watching this 😅

      The Genesis line is built more for people who train with pistols and longer distance rifles. With a normal .556 round at 100 yards (our minimum recommended for this caliber) you wouldn't see any damage. If you are a higher volume shooter that does closer rifle training, then the Exodus line is definitely for you as the 1/2" also features a lifetime warranty.

      It's the best raw material we've found in the world. And we have tested TONS of different makeups of armored steel.

      We aren't trying to fool anyone. We are showing that the Swedish armor we use in our A-DAP line is better than arguably ANYTHING else on the market. Then factor in our bracket and mount design and you have a truly impressive system. Thanks for watching and commenting!

    100 yards away=not dangerous.

    • @TATargets
      @TATargets  26 วันที่ผ่านมา

      It could be dangerous, and all the ammo shown is improper for steel use. BUT we are doing this for education. Distance DOES help the safety factor, so you are correct in that.

    Surprise an AP bullet does more damage on armor than non AP bullets…. They’re EPR (enhanced performance round) not AP. They are devastating on most targets but not AP. Go order some M995 and M993 and compare those, as those ARE AP 5.56 and 7.62 projectile cartridges.

    I wish AP was legal in my state. I recently found out my state has bans against all AP, incendiary, and tracers. I was dumbfounded for a state thats so right wing to have those kind of laws. Apparently the government doesn't trust law abiding citizens to defend themselves. Im not sure why tracers are banned other than possible fire hazard.. I was wanting to do some research and development that I could possibly sell to a product to a manufacturer but I'm not gonna risk a felony charge 😂

    These rounds are not available to normal people. You should have included standard M855 which is not allowed for use on many ranges with steel targets so we can see what actual damage it could cause.

    • @TATargets
      @TATargets  28 วันที่ผ่านมา

      The M855A1 is worse than M855, but not by much. M855 would have less of an impression than caused here. Still not approved ammo, but causes little damage

    • @jcnikoley
      @jcnikoley 28 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @ penetrating steel is not what’s dangerous on the range, it’s creating a crater or a dimple, which can cause fragments from standard rounds to be directed back towards the shooter. I would not reuse any of those plates you showed, because they all had dimples after being struck by AP rounds.

    • @TATargets
      @TATargets  28 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @ we will continue to use them specifically for abuse tests to showcase the strength of the steel.
      Interestingly enough, those dimples are not deep enough to return fragmentation towards a shooter. The crater has to be substantial. We cover that in depth in our user manuals.
      That being said, obviously use proper ammo and always follow our advertised approved distances.
