I liked to see the excellent student to get a more straight position just as her teacher or any ballet dancer has got. In any yoga studio the trainer can give the necessary exercises. Pranayama is one of these exercises providing also mastery of breath control.

The first word Zerfliesse is not pronounced correctly as all othet words of the difficult German language. Unfortunately Bach wasn't born in Italy or Russia where the language is more suited to singing. The best training is to go to Vienna or a German town with an opera house ( there are quite a few). And there the difficult pronunciation of German words is easily aquired. This is also good for mastering the Lieder, songs from Schubert and others, extremely difficult to sing. The most difficult of all is the aria of Pamina in Mozart's opera Magic flute. Even best German singers of the past had their difficulties. Today Genia Kühmeier is best.

What wonderful voices of both, really amazing. Only the pronounciation of the terrible difficult German needs training. Anglo/American singers mostly fail to master the pronounciation in German, except Th. Hampson who can sing as any good German singer, ( because trained by Elisabeth Schwarzkopf).

The pronounciation of the German language is almost impossible to master from the singers without having German as the mother tongue. Just copy Regula Mühlmann how she pronounces : Zerfließe . There is an inner aspect of this aria and this is the most difficult. You have it in Stabat Mater by Pergolesi where the pain of a mother having lost her beloved son is to be felt by the singer and presented to the listening people.

Haha. Then you've got the Northern Germans debating whether anybody else really speaks German.
