but is almost imposible to find a landcruiser with a v8 diesel ..pretty much all of them are v8 or v6 gasoline

Does the transmission oil flow into the top, or the bottom of the new cooler?

Flows into the bottom of the rear cooler then back to the transmission from the top of the front cooler.
